Tragic news out of Brooklyn this weekend former Nickelodeon kid star Kianna Underwood, who lit up screens on “All That” and voiced that spunky character on “Little Bill,” got killed in a brutal hit-and-run early Friday morning. She was just 33, and it’s left a ton of fans and family reeling from the shock.
Kianna got her start young, nailing roles that made her a familiar face in kids’ TV back in the 2000s. She popped up in seven episodes of “All That” during its 10th season in 2005, rubbing elbows with big names like Kenan Thompson and Amanda Bynes. Before that, she brought Fuchsia Glover to life the cousin in “Little Bill” for 23 episodes from 1999 to 2004. That show, inspired by Bill Cosby’s stories, was all about teaching little ones good lessons in a fun way. She even starred in “The 24 Hour Woman” at only 6 years old and hit the road touring as Little Inez in “Hairspray.”

The whole mess went down around 6:43 a.m. on January 16, 2026, right at Pitkin Avenue and Mother Gaston Boulevard in Brownsville. NYPD says she was in the crosswalk but crossing against the light when a black 2021 Ford Explorer SUV came barreling the wrong way to zip past another car and slammed into her first. Then a black and gray sedan hit her too, dragging her hundreds of feet before both drivers just took off. She died right there from severe injuries to her head and body.
The Collision Investigation Squad is on it, poring over videos and hunting for any witnesses. No one’s been arrested yet, per the department spokesperson, and they’re begging for tips via Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS. Still no word on if the drivers were drunk or high, or who they even are.
