    J. Lo’s Grammy Tribute Practice Fail

The Grammys 2023 committee announced a tribute to the legendary Whitney Houston, and J. Lo’s involvement has sparked a lot of discussion.

Whitney Houston, who deserves deep respect and honor, had an incomparable vocal range. However, leaked footage of J. Lo’s rehearsal, shared by Chris Evans on social media, has generated criticism and raised eyebrows.

One significant part of Houston’s early life and career was her gospel singing at New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, NJ. Some may question whether the Black church supports J. Lo’s attempt to bring Whitney Houston’s songs to life. It’s clear that J. Lo will need more practice and prayer to pull this off. The church can certainly say “Amen” to that.

Overall, there is disappointment as it seems that the list for the tribute may not have been carefully curated. Nevertheless, J. Lo remains confident in her ability to perform Whitney’s classic hits effortlessly. In a recent interview, the Bronx native commented on her upcoming performance:

“I believe Whitney’s songs fit my vocal range very well,” said J. Lo. “I’m going to sing ‘I Have Nothing’ and ‘I Will Always Love You.'”

    Fans quickly responded:
