The 2022 VMAs Coming Soon
The MTV VMAs are back and are better than ever. The 2022 VMAs is set to have not one, not two, but three hosts this year. The trio taking the stage is Nicki Minaj, Jack Harlow, and LL Cool J. Let’s take a minute, process that, and be ready for a celebration of music.

The VMAs are taking place on Sunday, Aug. 28, with three hosts that confirm one’s company, two’s a crowd, and three’s a party. The “Moment 4 Life” star is set to not only perform at the award show since her 2018 performance but also receive this year’s Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.
LL Cool J made a comeback at the VMAs after presenting in 2000 and receiving the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award in 1997. While both co-hosts are no rookies to the VMAs, Jack Harlow is proving he’s not.
Jack Harlow made his first appearance at the VMAs last year with his “Industry Baby” performance alongside the infamous Lil Nas X. Since then, fans have fallen in love with the rapper. The “First Class” star has seven nominations: “Video Of The Year, Artist Of The Year, and Best Collaboration.”
Harlow is also set to perform at the 2022 VMAs and this time as a solo artist, and if the anticipation could not come any sooner, fans are ready.
Last year the VMAs were hosted by the top-charting artist Doja Cat and this year, fans are eager to know will the trio take it to a whole other level.
Nominations Are Here!
The voting is open now on mtv.com, and fans from all around the world can cast their votes. The categories include “Song Of The Year, Best New Artist, Best Hip-Hop, Best Rock,” and many others.
Harry Styles and Doja Cat came in as close with six nominations and followed behind with five, including Taylor Swift and Drake.
The nominees include Megan Thee Stallion, Post Malone & The Weekend, Lil Nas X, Bad Bunny, and Billie Eilish. The VMAs have extraordinary talent this year and might be close for many categories. However, the fans will see it all coming on Sunday, August. 28th.
It airs live from the Prudential Center at 8 PM ET/5 PT.
