Five Things That can help Improve the NFL Pro Bowl if Revived

While some are angered by the NFL finally ending the Pro Bowl that many have known it to be. Others are extremely relieved as they believed it to be a waste of a game and another version of flag football. While the debate has finally come to an end, it does appear to be sad that many people who look forward to this time will have to reconsider now.

There’s good news tho while the Pro Bowl that many know it to be is officially over. The NFL will continue a week of “Pro Bowl Games” starring these Pro Bowlers instead of an actual game, reported ESPN.

“The Pro Bowl is an event we’ve been looking to improve for some time now,” said NFL executive Peter O’Reilly. “After last year’s game, we had internal discussions and gathered feedback from GMs, coaches, and players. We saw an opportunity to create something completely different and move away from the traditional tackle football format. Our goal is to celebrate the top 88 NFL stars in a positive, fun, and competitive way.

“We received direct feedback from players who recently participated in the Pro Bowl, and they emphasized the importance of keeping the week-long structure. The response from players and clubs has been overwhelmingly positive.”

Five Improvements to make to the NFL Pro Bowl:

    • The NFL should find a way to attempt to incorporate a way to get multiple of the biggest stars and celebrities involved. Similarly, the NBA when they do the annual celebrity All-Star game every year.
    • The NFL should attempt to make it more centered and cultured around an event. This means the NBA does the All-Star comedy event annually. Many athletes attend, as well as, the biggest comics in the world. If the NFL can find ways to collab with different walks of entertainment that would help them benefit greatly.
    • The NFL should do an annual mascot game! Each of the 32 teams’ mascots should form a team and play a game of football allowing every fan of all ages to be involved.
    • A tactic that may help engagement in the Pro Bowl will be allowing prop bets and parlay deals. Additionally, if the NFL allowed a deal of alcohol consumption on top of reasonable betting, who in America wouldn’t enjoy that?
    • The NFL should allow kids free in for the remainder of the week. Naturally, engagement will grow and it will force many parents (adults) to to come out bringing more and more of a crowd!
