In a recent episode of “It Is What It Is,” rapper Cam’ron challenged Mario Chalmers to a 1 on 1 basketball game. The 47-year-old rapper has a reputation for being super confident, and he thinks he can take on Chalmers, who played for the Miami Heat during their two NBA championship runs. Does Cam’ron stand a chance?

Cam’ron is feeling himself
Chalmers was a key rotation player for the Miami Heat in 2008 and 2009. He averaged 8.8 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game over his career for the franchise. He was also part of the Heat’s Big 3 era, along with LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh.
Cam’ron said he can cook Mario Chalmers 1 on 1 then when Mario Chalmers said he’s down to do it Cam’ron backed out and said Chalmers is a heroin addict, he’s officially a sports talk host.

If you’re a fan of the NBA, you probably know all about how talented these players are. Unfortunately, some people still make the mistake of challenging them to a 1-on-1 matchup. In fact, there are plenty of fans who have been embarrassingly destroyed by some of the league’s best players. Here are a few of them:
First off, there is no denying that the state of New Jersey is home to some of the most iconic rap music in America. That being said, New Jersey showed it’s less-than-classy side when fans on the street were asked to choose between $250 worth of food stamps or dinner with the rapper Soulja Boy. Watch Soulja Boy’s rants about New Jersey below!
The Garden State is also home to a host of high-tech manufacturing companies, which are responsible for producing the goods you and your wallet rely on each and every day. The good news is that the state is on the rise, despite the recession and an ever-growing number of high-stress jobs that pay less than minimum wage.
Hilarious! Soulja Boy’s reaction when these ladies preferred $250 in food stamps over dinner with him 😂😂😂😂😭😭😭😭💀💀💀💀💀

3rd time’s the charm?
In fact, a recent survey of over 1,200 people found that more than half of those polled said they are willing to live in the Garden State for longer than they planned on it. The survey, which was commissioned by NJTA and conducted on behalf of the state’s department of tourism and conventions and visitors’ bureau, also found that nearly one-third of the state’s population is underemployed.
While the state’s burgeoning economy has not escaped its fair share of scandals, it remains the envy of many other locales across the country. In addition to a booming business, the state boasts an impressive number of attractions and tourist hotspots, all a quick jaunt from its capital city.
A video that made rounds on social media last week, showing a hooded man holding Ice Spice’s “Queen” necklace has been proven to be nothing more than a TikTok hoax. According to TMZ, the alleged kidnapper of the popular rapper’s chain was merely looking for internet clout. The clip drew widespread backlash from Ice Spice’s fans who questioned whether or not it was real.
As usual, Twitter gave its jokes, thoughts, and opinions
TMZ also reports that a close source to the ‘Munch (Feelin U)’ hitmaker said the “Queen” chain did not belong to her at all, and was a hoax created by clout-chasers trying to gain Internet fame. The man was also caught mocking Ice Spice’s rhyme pattern, ‘Come to the bla-duh-duh, come get ya ched-duh-duh,’ before he was forced to delete the video.

Twitter users have expressed their disgust and confusion over the rumor, while others have pointed out how the ‘Boy’s a Liar Pt. 2’ rapper’s fans have been urging people to stop believing everything they see online.
Was Ice Spice lying?
Some users even called out the ‘hooded man’s’ attempts to make the video viral. They argued that it was all a clout-chasing moment and he should be banned from TikTok due to its nuisances and constant need for drama.
It’s unclear what Ice Spice plans to do about the rumor or what her reaction will be to the video, which has more than 6.7 million views as of Thursday. The ‘Munch (Feelin’ U)’ hitmaker has yet to comment on the matter or her jewelry, but she is expected to attend iHeart awards this weekend.
The pride of Charm City, Roc Writah, brings a Reality Check to 2023. We’ve come to expect a release each year in March to commemorate his birthday. Reality Check is another hard hitting single produced by Nikonor (Complaints and Complacency) that puts us at the center of self. Writah’s first line is a gritty war line, “Anybody can get it, that’s where my mental at.”
Which you would think is a warning shot to peers and other artists alike, but the video tells a different story. We are presented with double meaning, and I believe Roc is also talking to himself. He is seen running through the night with a bruised eye socket and blood on his face. Who he is attempting to flee is not shown until we get a seconds glimpse at the very end of his shadow, being in the form of a monstrous creature.
Is he frightened by himself? “Conquer your inner beast or lose it all in the process” is displayed at the end, which sums up the colorful illusions in the video, and battles we face as humans each day. As humans, it seems that we always have an uphill battle to climb. And despite the darkness, Roc chooses to bring his to the light. Tell us what you think.

In a recent interview, Cassidy recalled his time with DMX while in Phoenix. X showed Cassidy a giant Scorpion from the ground! As DMX struggled with addiction and mental illness, he found solace in the desert. He rented a house in a quiet Scottsdale neighborhood and spent long hours by the pool.
During those times, DMX also recorded songs with a strong spiritual component. He would often pray, reading a passage from the Bible, over guitar strumming and soft percussion.
DMX’s scorpion story
When DMX first moved to Arizona in 2001, it was for the wide-open expanses and lax gun laws that promised a different kind of escape from his traumatic past. But as he became a fixture of the Phoenix scene, he began to receive unwanted attention from law enforcement.
During a 2009 interview with Arizona Republic reporter Jason Mann, DMX recalled how police officers followed him and his wife Tashera around their property, pulling them over for driving without a license or even simply for parking in the wrong spot. He explains that they had no choice but to live under constant surveillance, a fate that would come to define their years in the desert.
He tells Mann that he would often have to take his young children out of the car to avoid being pulled over by a police officer. That’s because the rapper didn’t have a license.
The sting from an Arizona bark scorpion is similar to a bee sting, and its venom can cause excruciating pain, as well as temporary numbness and nausea, which can last up to 72 hours. The sting can also lead to a severe allergic reaction, which can result in an anaphylactic shock.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report an annual occurrence of approximately 6.5 million scorpion stings in the United States. In fact, the Arizona bark scorpion is one of the most dangerous scorpions in the world.
Bark scorpions are the most common type of scorpion that people see in homes, and they can be found anywhere there is wood or wood products. They tend to hide in areas where they can get warm, such as under leaves and inside rock or wood piles.
They are also known for climbing vertical surfaces, so they can be spotted tucked into nooks and crannies throughout homes. They are especially vulnerable to stinging from sunlight, so be sure to check your roof and windows for them during sunny days.
Cassidy’s scorpion story
Arizona is home to a variety of scorpions, many of which are considered dangerous. The biggest concern for homeowners in the Phoenix area are bark scorpions, which are venomous and can cause pain, nausea, and vomiting after a sting.
These creatures are nocturnal and can be found in many places, including in the backyards of homes. They’re especially active in the summer months when there are more bugs to eat.
There are over 30 different species of scorpions in the state, and some of them can be very venomous. You’ll want to be sure to hire a professional pest control service in Phoenix to get rid of any critters on your property, especially those that are considered dangerous.
The Arizona Bark Scorpion, the state’s most prevalent scorpion, possesses highly toxic venom that can be life-threatening. Typically, it hides in woodpiles, tangled limbs, and decaying logs, making it challenging to detect.
To locate these creatures more easily, a black light proves useful as they glow under this type of illumination. You have the option to buy these lights either online or at hardware or sporting goods stores.
They are venomous and can cause pain, swelling, and redness. This can be a very dangerous and life-threatening situation for people who are not medically trained to deal with them.
In addition to being venomous, scorpions have a special ability to glow under certain types of light. It’s thought that this is a way for them to determine whether or not it’s daytime or nighttime and it also helps them confuse their prey.
If you notice a scorpion on your property, be sure to contact a professional pest control company in Phoenix for advice and a free consultation. They can also recommend a treatment that will eliminate any scorpions that are found and remove them from your home.

In a recent interview, Philadelphia rapper Cassidy recounted his time around R. Kelly while making, recording, and filming the hit “Hotel.” R Kelly abused a number of young girls by coercing them to perform sexually at his command over a period of years. He slapped, choked and spat on them, threatened to harm them and confined them for periods of time.
Cassidy wishes he got to know R. Kelly better while making “Hotel”
“I wish I got to know him better while recording the song Hotel”
Cassidy has been a fixture on the R&B scene since the late 1990s, when he started freestyling and competing in battle rap. As a result, the Pennsylvania native has earned several RIAA gold and platinum awards for his work and is recognized as the best-selling R&B male artist of our time. In addition to his 78 chart singles as lead artist, he has teamed up with dozens of artists for chart-topping collaborations and guest appearances on albums.
He has garnered 21 Grammy Award(r) nominations to date, including R&B Album Of the Year for his last three albums, Untitled (for 2011), Love Letter (2012) and Write Me Back (2013). Moreover, he has won a total of five GRAMMY® Awards and received eight additional RIAA gold and platinum awards.
A leading contributor to the evolution of contemporary R&B, Kelly has crafted a body of work that spans 20 years and features an impressive roster of hit songs that include “She’s Got That Vibe” with Public Announcement, “Number One” with Keri Hilson and “Hold On” with Ja Rule. This comprehensive disc is the latest installment in Legacy Recordings’ top-selling Essential series and features a liner notes essay by senior editor at VIBE Magazine Keith Murphy.
“I wish I got to know him better while recording Hotel”
Cassidy was a popular rapper back in the day, but he never really achieved mainstream success. But that didn’t stop him from scoring hits like Hotel, which he penned with R Kelly. The track climbed to the pinnacle of the R&B charts, achieving a remarkable Top 5 status in the pop genre, etching it as one of Cassidy’s most unforgettable songs to this day.
While there are many things to love about R Kelly, his sex abuse cases have earned him a spot on the pop music bad boy list, not to mention a federal prison sentence. In addition to his federal sex abductions, Kelly is also being prosecuted for racketeering and obstruction of justice, both of which he also suffered from during his heyday in the music industry. The best part about this case is that it’s not the first time a sexually abusive celebrity has gone to jail. A judge in Chicago sentenced Kelly to two decades behind bars last month. To make matters worse, he has been fighting in court for years to get out of prison and even sued the judge himself for refusing to help him.
During a conversation with XXL, 50 Cent says that he likes Drake, and that drake has some good music coming soon. The two have shown each other much love since their time in the club together recently.
While it may seem like 50 Cent isn’t exactly the type of artist who would be able to pull a collab off, he’s actually quite close to the Toronto MC. The G-Unit general has been an admirer of Drizzy’s music for some time, and it’s no secret that he wants to collaborate with the OVO Sound rapper.
When it comes to the hip-hop industry, however, there’s a lot more that goes into making a hit record than just talent and production. The rappers’ personal lives are often a huge part of their music, and the way that they approach those struggles has led to some of the most groundbreaking songs in history.
One of the most notable examples of this is 50 Cent’s breakthrough hit “Get Rich or Die Tryin’.” In the song, he raps about his struggles with love and his desire to be rich and famous. The song was a huge hit, and it’s no wonder that so many rappers have used the track as a springboard to success.
The lyrics in the song are pretty complex, and they can have multiple meanings. It’s clear that 50 Cent’s intention was to write a hit song, but the song has also influenced many rappers who have followed in his footsteps.
For one, rappers like Lil Baby and Lil Wayne have taken their cues from the gangster-orientated songs that 50 Cent made. In fact, some rap fans believe that 50’s style has been the driving force behind a new push toward melody in hip-hop.
He’s credited late Run-DMC legend Jam Master Jay for teaching him to rhyme, and he has also said that it’s his inspiration to infuse his songs with more than just one line of melody.
How will it sound?
It’s no surprise that Drizzy has an affinity for gangster-themed music, as he was raised in a tough neighborhood and was known to be violent towards his peers. He also once worked with a gangsta rap group called the Black Eyed Peas, and has been a guest on several gangsta rap albums.
While Drake’s rap career hasn’t always been easy, he’s managed to overcome the odds and stay relevant in the rap world for over 10 years. That’s something that he’s proud of, and it’s also what makes him so special as an artist.
The rapper has been releasing new music more frequently than ever, and it’s not surprising that he’s been teasing a few tracks on Instagram recently. He’s reportedly working on a new project, which will likely drop in the near future.
In the meantime, he’s got some other projects in the works as well. He’s been teasing new music from himself and 21 Savage on Instagram, and it looks like that collaboration is going to come together sooner rather than later.
The two rappers met up earlier this week after Drizzy canceled his scheduled headlining performance at Lollapalooza Brazil. They were spotted hanging out at a club in Miami and Fif was seen wearing a 50 Cent shirt a day later on his Instagram account. In the comments, Fif commented on his friend’s post, saying that he was glad to see Drake out and about and that he should drop some music soon.
After a year of antisemitic rants, West apologized to his Jewish fans, but it took a buddy-cop movie and a change in his heart for Kanye to come around. Seth Rogan has felt a bit proud of Ye’s turnaround, and the actor/director took partial ownership for who Kanye West’s new found tolerance. In an Instagram post, he wrote: “Watching Jonah Hill in [21 Jump Street] made me like Jewish people again.”
Kanye’s history on social media
The rapper was banned from Twitter and Instagram in late 2022 after making numerous antisemitic comments that led to brand partnerships with Adidas and Balenciaga being cut off. It also came after his interview with conspiracy theorist Alex Jones on Infowars in which he praised Hitler and attacked Jews.
As the Anti-Defamation League explains, “West’s antisemitism has spread across the internet and has resulted in a slew of hate crimes against Jews, including assaults, harassment, and death threats.” In a report from February, the ADL found that West’s antisemitic tweets and comments “have prompted at least 30 incidents of violence against Jews.”
In an effort to repair his image, West announced his intention to donate all proceeds from his Yeezy clothing line to the Jewish community. However, many have questioned the motivation behind this decision. The artist has a long history of antisemitism, and his comments on Hitler in the “Infowars” interview and denial of the Holocaust are just the latest examples.
But while the ADL argues that the rapper has a moral obligation to apologize, he might have been thinking of himself instead. After all, he is a self-described “artist.”
Seth Rogen Takes Slight Ownership for Kanye West’s Antisemitism
In a new interview with Cinema Blend, Seth Rogen revealed that he felt “slight ownership” for Kanye West‘s change of heart. During the interview, he was asked about Ye’s recent IG update on Jonah Hill’s role in 21 Jump Street.
While Rogen burst into laughter, he explained that he had no idea about the comedian’s intention. Rather, he was simply presenting a jokingly presented question to him.
The actor, who is Jewish, then shared his reaction to the rapper’s IG post. He shared: “It’s a nice feeling when you are actually cured, and I guess Kanye is curing himself.”
Rogen also noted that the rapper had changed his tune on this front after seeing Hill in the movie. He added: “He has a change of heart now, and that’s good for the world.”
In light of the rapper’s newfound love for the Jewish community, Rogen called for “a real conversation” about antisemitism on the Internet. He notes: “It’s important for all of us to talk about how we feel about the state of our country and the Jewish community, because it is a very divisive issue.”
As Rogen points out, this isn’t the first time he has taken to social media to call for Jews to be cured of their antisemitism. Back in 2017, he parodied Kanye’s music video for Bound 2 with James Franco, and the pair of actors even showed up at his wedding to Kim Kardashian.
While it’s great to see Kanye’s relationship with Jewish people change, the reality is that he has done far more harm than good. And that isn’t likely to change unless the artist does something about it.
Tory Lanez has taken a step toward a new trial in the Megan Thee Stallion shooting case, with his legal team making a motion for a fresh trial after recent changes in representation, as reported by legal journalist Meghann Cuniff.
Lanez faced three felony charges in the July 2020 incident: assault with a firearm, concealing an unregistered firearm in his vehicle, and discharging a firearm with negligence. If convicted of all charges, he could potentially face up to 22 years in prison and deportation to Canada.
After nearly two years of waiting, the case against Tory Lanez over his alleged shooting of Megan Thee Stallion in 2020 is finally underway. The trial is scheduled to open in Los Angeles County court today.

Megan Thee Stallion plans to testify tomorrow that Tory Lanez shot her, TMZ reports. The shooting occurred on the night of July 12, 2020, when Megan and Lanez were out with her former assistant Kelsey Harris.
The shooting happened after Lanez insulted Megan and her music career, she said. The singer allegedly shouted, “dance b***h,” and shot her in the foot.
Prosecutors have argued that Lanez shot Megan, but his lawyer says it was a case of mistaken identity and he was not the shooter. Attorney George G. Mgdesyan also says his client had no sexual relationship with Megan, which is contrary to what Megan had previously told the judge in her sworn testimony.
What the attorney says
Mgdesyan argues that Lanez’s ex-girlfriend, Kelsey Harris, had no involvement in the shooting, and that her presence at the scene was “inconsistent” with Lanez’s account of events. He has also maintained that Harris was on “probation” at the time of the shooting, which is a theory that would put her at a disadvantage in this case.
He also argues that Megan’s claims that Lanez offered her $1 million are bogus and that she was lying when she said Lanez was on probation. He also argues that Lanez’s lawyer failed to place the driver of his Cadillac Escalade on the witness stand, which could lead to a mistrial.
The defense has also raised a number of red flags, including the fact that Megan’s boyfriend had previously been arrested in a similar shooting and that Lanez had been on a court-ordered diversion program at the time of the incident.
Another red flag is that prosecutors’ evidence of Lanez’s connection to Megan was weak, with only his name and the date of the shooting appearing on the arrest record. This lack of documentation was an issue for Lanez’s defense team, who argued that it was too difficult to prove that Lanez had been with Megan.
Prosecutors were also critical of the way in which Lanez’s lawyers used their last address to the jury to challenge Megan’s credibility, while arguing that the lack of DNA conclusively linking Lanez to the 9mm handgun found at his feet was enough to acquit him based on reasonable doubt. They also disputed the prosecution’s claim that Megan had been suffering from a psychiatric condition at the time of the shooting.
