Artist Spotlight: Goody Has Something To Prove To Chicago

Next up, we have hip-hop artist, Goody, a Chicago emcee whose flow is impeccable. He brings a familiar sound to the Windy City’s rap scene. I have been personally following him when he released his EP, 21 (To Anyone).

His music provides a window seat vibe of a young male growing up on the streets of Chicago. His EP reminds me of back in the day ‘90s r&b but adds his own Chicago flavor. One of his latest singles, “Know How” is a personal favorite of mine because it is an anthem for people who go out and show out and “know how” to get it. It’s a song that all hustlers and go getters should relate to. Another favorite is his recent single, “Roc-A-Fella Flow.” This song relates to me because you should focus on the real hustle of your goal and maneuver with any obstacle that comes your way. Reminiscent of young Hov’s grind and flow, Goody is next up so keep an eye out summer 17!
