Lil Baby FaceTimes Playboi Carti from a Strip Club in Japan

Hours after headlining FORCE Festival 2026 outside Tokyo, Lil Baby was filmed FaceTiming Playboi Carti from inside a strip club. The brief clip, shot under dim red lighting, shows the rapper holding up his phone as Carti appears on the screen. Streamer Kai Cenat was also present in the club at the time.

The footage began circulating early on October 26. An earlier post from the account @chiefdosa described the scene as “lil baby on facetime with playboi carti while being at a strip club in japan with kai cenat.” Larger accounts, including @Kurrco, quickly shared the video, which accumulated thousands of likes and hundreds of thousands of views within hours.

The outing followed Lil Baby’s set at FORCE Festival 2026, held October 25 at Higashi Ogishima East Park in Kawasaki. The outdoor event marked his first live performance in Japan after a previously canceled solo show. The lineup also included Polo G, Lil Tjay, Key Glock, DJ Drama, and several Japanese artists. That same night, the festival organized an official afterparty called MAGIC CITY TOKYO — a collaboration with Atlanta’s Magic City — at ZEROTOKYO in Shinjuku.

Separate videos posted around the same time showed Lil Baby and Kai Cenat together inside the club. Those clips circulated alongside the FaceTime footage, prompting online commentary that ranged from jokes about the unexpected setting to observations about the two ending up in familiar nightlife territory while overseas. Neither Lil Baby, Playboi Carti, nor Kai Cenat has publicly addressed the videos.

The clip itself runs roughly six seconds and captures only the moment of the call, with no extended audio of the conversation. Its rapid spread appears driven by the visual of two high-profile Atlanta artists connected across continents in the middle of a post-festival night out.
