Drake arrived at Atlanta’s Onyx Gentleman’s Club on the night of Sept. 26, 2023, with a large clear plastic storage bin packed full of neatly stacked cash.
Video from the club shows the rapper standing at the bar in the blue-lit room, reaching into the bin, pulling out bundles of bills and setting them on the counter as he watched the dancers.
Reports estimated the bin held around $250,000. Neither Drake’s team nor the club confirmed the exact figure.
The club shared footage on Instagram the next day with the caption “Last night was a blur,” a direct nod to Drake’s It’s All a Blur Tour with 21 Savage. The pair had just played two nights at State Farm Arena in Atlanta on Sept. 25 and 26.
Drake, whose full name is Aubrey Drake Graham, was 36 at the time. The Canadian artist has built a career that includes chart-topping albums, acting roles and a well-documented taste for high-spending nights out.
The Onyx visit fit a longer pattern. In 2013, Drake rolled into Cameo Nightclub in Charlotte, North Carolina, with a cardboard box containing $50,000 in dollar bills and proceeded to make it rain until the floor was covered.
He has also been photographed at Houston clubs in the past, including a 2021 stop with Travis Scott shortly after the Astroworld Festival.
The 2023 Atlanta clip circulated widely at the time through outlets including the New York Post and Complex. It resurfaced again in September 2026 when hip-hop news accounts shared the same video.
Onyx Gentleman’s Club remains one of Atlanta’s better-known adult venues and has hosted a steady stream of rappers and athletes over the years. Drake’s appearance with the ready-made cash supply was simply the latest example of how he chooses to spend a night after a sold-out arena show.
