    Summer Film Ready!

    After a hectic year, summer movie releases couldn’t come fast enough. This summer has blessed us with a variety of films: Top Gun: Maverick, Hustle, Jurassic World Domination, and of course Elvis. However, while these are all great releases, there are many more great movies to come this summer!

    Where The Crawdad’s Sing is a highly anticipated film that is an adaptation of Delia Owen’s bestselling novel–Where The Crawdad’s Sing. Reese Witherspoon’s production company Hello Sunshine has adapted the book into a movie. Kaia, a young girl living in the marsh on North Carolina’s coast, must navigate life on her own. Often referred to as “The Marsh Girl”, Kaia becomes ostracized from her community and is resented. As she grows older she begins to find her footing and builds romantic relationships. However, a murder of someone Kaia was once involved with takes place in her town and she is the leading suspect. Where The Crawdad’s Sing is a movie you definitely want to make sure to add to your list!

Moreover, the film follows residents of a town who start witnessing odd phenomena. This mysterious force affects human and animal behavior. Any Get Out fan can  be sure to check out Nope !

    Directed and written by The Office star B.J Novak, Vengeance is a comedy thriller that follows journalist Ben Manalowitz. Ben Manalowitz played by Novak, gets investigates the murder of a girl he once hooked up with. Also starring Boyd Holbrook, Dove Cameron, Issa Rae, and Ashton Kutcher,  Vengeance is definitely a must-see for those interested in a classic comedy/thriller.
