YouTuber Xing’s World Builds Miniature Subway System for His Cats After 4 Months of Work

Move over, Lego sets — one YouTuber built an entire subway system for his cats.

Xing Zhilei, the Chinese creator behind the hit channel Xing’s World, has gone viral after unveiling a fully functional miniature subway designed just for his Maine Coon cats. The project, which took four months to complete, debuted on August 17 and has already racked up over 100,000 views in just two days.

And this isn’t just a cardboard box train. Xing’s subway looks and feels like the real thing. The system features automatic doors that sync up with platform doors, a working escalator, tunnels, a looping train track, illuminated signs, and even audio announcements that greet furry “paw-ssengers” with, “Welcome to Cattown Station. Please give way to alighting passengers before boarding.”

“I decided to stop overthinking and just get started,”

Xing explained the build, which nearly stalled when he couldn’t figure out the mechanics of the escalator and doors.

“I’ll tackle the problems one by one as they come.”

That determination paid off — and the result is stunning.

The subway is the newest addition to Xing’s two-year-long passion project, Cat Town. It’s already home to a cat-sized supermarket (complete with shelves and products), a wellness spa, a cinema, a garage, and even a bank. Oh, and for transportation? His cats can also cruise around in their mini Cybertruck and Cyberquad.

Each project piece is designed with meticulous attention to detail, making Cat Town feel like a living, breathing city scaled down for feline residents.

While the subway is delighting viewers worldwide, Xing has also used his talents to help animals in need. Last year, he built 100 insulated shelters in just 48 hours to keep stray cats safe and warm during the winter.

Naturally, the internet can’t get enough of the subway reveal. Comments have praised Xing’s craftsmanship, with one fan writing, “This is spectacularly well done! Your attention to detail is incredible. It could be a movie set.”

Another joked, “Cats in China are getting better public transit than humans in America.”

As for Xing, he’s not slowing down anytime soon. The creator has already teased that more additions are coming for his growing feline metropolis.

With every new build, one thing is clear: Xing’s cats live better than most city commuters.
