Young Thug’s leaked jail call admitting to cheating on Mariah the Scientist has sparked heated discussions among fans. The Atlanta rapper, whose real name is Jeffery Lamar Williams, confessed in a recorded conversation from Cobb County Jail that another woman was at his condo just days before his May 2022 arrest. This revelation, surfacing on September 6, 2025, has put his relationship with R&B singer Mariah the Scientist under intense scrutiny.
In the leaked audio, Young Thug describes how one of his “little girls” posted content from his condo on social media, prompting a confrontation from Mariah, whom he affectionately calls “Mariah in the morning.” He dismisses her concerns, saying the incident happened “a day before I got locked up” and insists it’s old news, noting it occurred “a month and a half” earlier, around mid-June 2022.
He further claims he’s no longer involved with the other woman, stating,
“I ain’t doing it with her, so, who to do?”
Despite his attempts to downplay the situation, the audio has left fans questioning his loyalty.
Young Thug and Mariah, whose real name is Brittany Mariah Carpentero, began dating in 2021. Throughout his incarceration on RICO charges tied to alleged gang activity, Mariah stood by him, attending court hearings and dedicating songs like “From a Woman” to him in 2023. After taking a plea deal, she was by his side when he was released on probation on October 31, 2024.

In December 2024, audio surfaced of Young Thug admitting to talking to “10 girls” daily while dating Mariah, claiming she’d be “heartbroken” if she knew. Another call from early September 2025 revealed him calling rapper GloRilla “ugly” during a conversation with Mariah, who laughed at the comment.
GloRilla responded lightheartedly on social media, and Young Thug later apologized. Additional leaks include him criticizing rapper Future’s parenting and accusing Gunna of financial misconduct, further fueling public interest in the Young Thug cheating scandal.
