Boxer Gervonta Davis was recently arrested in Parkland, Florida, on domestic charges. He is currently in custody at the Broward County jail facility in Fort Lauderdale. No bond has been set, and further details about his arrest have not been released.
Oh, and by the way, Davis has a court appearance coming up on February 16th. It’s related to a hit-and-run incident that happened back in 2020. He’s got some charges against him, like not sticking around at the accident scene. On top of that, he’s also dealing with a civil lawsuit. It’s definitely a lot going on for him right now.
Unfortunately, Davis seems to be following a similar path as Floyd Mayweather, who also had legal issues earlier in his career. While Mayweather’s problems have decreased over time, Davis, being Mayweather’s protege, is facing scrutiny.
Despite these legal troubles, the 28-year-old boxer is still scheduled to headline a PBC on Showtime PPV event in Washington, D.C., in just 10 days, where he will face Hector Luis Garcia.
