Snoop Dogg’s Snoop DeVille Is Back In The Spotlight

Snoop has always been known for his love of cars and has found an exciting way to put one of his classic cars back in the spotlight. The 1966 Cadillac Lowrider, Snoop DeVille, recently appeared at a Texas Cadillac dealership. The classic car was famously featured in Snoop’s 2003 music video for his song “P.I.M.P.” remix. The car also received the “top interior” prize at a 2006 General Motors car competition.

The Cadillac has reportedly been taking up space in the garage of a car enthusiast named Christian Bonilla. Bonilla says he’s considering selling the ride after he replaces the engine and gives it an audio upgrade. Bonilla still needs an asking price,, but he is entertaining offers.

YouTuber and auto restorer Caliboy helm the video for the car’s restoration. He goes into great detail about how the classic ride came to be in such disrepair. The candy apple red Cadillac with a white top needs some help as the exterior paint has faded due to exposure to the sun over the years. It’ll also need a fresh wrap and a new top to bring it back to its original glory.

Caliboy explains why he thinks Snoop’s DeVille deserves to be restored. He takes the time to explain some technical aspects of how the car was rebuilt.

In addition to the restoration of Snoop’s DeVille, Caliboy has been working on a few other vehicles of late, including a Lamborghini and a Ferrari. The rapper has also been very active in the cannabis business. He launched his line of weed products and created his digital platform to keep fans informed about the latest in the 420 worlds.

Snoop Dogg has had a successful music career, amassing 17 studio albums and 17 Grammy nominations. He started his journey in the rap game with Death Row Records. Later he joined No Limit with Master P. The label would produce some of Snoop’s best work, including the West Coast anthem “Lay Low.” The track features Nate Dogg and Master P crooning over production from Dre and Timbaland. It’s an essential cut from Snoop’s No Limit era, and it proved that the emcee could be just as relevant outside of the shadow of 2Pac, Suge Knight, and Death Row.
