Scarlett Johansson and Jonathan Bailey’s friendship is showing no signs of extinction.
The Jurassic World Rebirth co-stars are once again turning heads after sharing a cheeky Instagram snap that has fans buzzing.
The image, shared on August 25, shows Bailey appearing to playfully bite Johansson’s neck while she strikes a sultry pose for the camera. At first glance, fans were quick to speculate about sparks between the Jurassic World Rebirth co-stars. But in reality, the moment was part of a charity campaign, not a romantic encounter.
Bailey posted the snap on his Instagram and the official page for The Shameless Fund, the LGBTQ+ charity he founded to support international nonprofits. His simple caption — “SCARLETT // @theshamelessfund” — confirmed the post was about raising awareness, not relationship rumors.
The post comes shortly after Bailey opened up about his love life during a July Chicken Shop Date interview, clarifying he was single and, as he put it, had a “genetic predisposition” that meant romance with women wasn’t on the cards. The actor, who is openly gay, has otherwise kept details about his dating life private, though he mentioned being with a “lovely man” back in late 2023.
This isn’t the first time Johansson and Bailey’s close friendship has caught attention. Over the summer, the pair shared playful kisses on the red carpet during Jurassic World Rebirth premieres in London and New York City. At the time, Bailey brushed off speculation, saying:
“I believe in expressing love in various forms. If you can’t kiss your friends… life is too short for that.”

If anyone has reason to worry, it’s Johansson’s husband, comedian Colin Jost — but the Saturday Night Live star seems to be enjoying the jokes more than anyone. Speaking in July, Jost quipped:
“In Jurassic Park terms, the attack always comes from the raptor you least expect. Of all the threats out there, I wasn’t thinking it was Jonathan.”
He added that Bailey being openly gay made the situation “non-threatening,” before joking that maybe he and Bailey should share a kiss too:
“Just to close the loop.”
Johansson, who wed Jost in 2020, has equally leaned into the playful chatter. When asked on the Today show about her public displays of affection with Bailey, she laughed it off.
“He’s a lovable guy, what can I say? I don’t know. We’re just friendly people,” Johansson said, adding that nothing about the public’s fascination surprises her anymore.
Some outlets have incorrectly reported that Bailey is married, but current information confirms he is single in 2025. Meanwhile, Johansson and Jost have remained happily married since tying the knot in October 2020. The couple welcomed their son, Cosmo, in August 2021.
Behind the playful photo is Bailey’s commitment to philanthropy. The Shameless Fund aims to “forge a world where every LGBTQ+ person can live authentically, love freely and thrive without the burdens of discrimination, oppression or shame.” The charity has already launched buzzy campaigns with fashion house Loewe — including the viral “Drink Your Milk” t-shirt inspired by Bailey’s hit series Fellow Travelers.
