Rapper Doeboi909 is speaking out after posting security camera footage that he says shows his daughter stealing from his home.
The 37-second black-and-white recording shows a bedroom with clothing and drawers scattered around. In the footage, a teenage girl — identified by the rapper as his daughter — walks into the room and goes directly to a dresser. She is seen searching through drawers before removing a large plastic bag that Doeboi909 says contained “a whole pound” of marijuana.
She then leaves the room through a back door. Throughout the clip, Doeboi909 narrates the footage in a voiceover, expressing disbelief and frustration.
At one point, he says, “I done been robbed by opps, I done been robbed by strangers, but my own daughter? That’s crazy, bro.” He later adds, “She just took my whole pound.”
Doeboi909 has built a following in the Inland Empire hip-hop scene, known for music that reflects his upbringing and local community. The rapper, who has released over 20 songs since 2018, has also had previous viral moments involving family matters, including videos in which he confronted individuals he believed were misbehaving toward his relatives.
The rapper didn’t offer additional details about what led him to post the footage publicly, but the clip sparked an immediate online conversation. Within hours, it was being reposted across hip-hop and entertainment-focused accounts, drawing a wide range of reactions from fans and followers.
Some social media users questioned whether the incident constituted “stealing,” noting the family relationship, while others expressed surprise that Doeboi909 chose to share the footage rather than address the issue privately. Many also reacted to the quantity of cannabis shown in the video, prompting discussions about California’s cannabis laws and personal possession limits.
The incident has since become a trending topic across platforms, with fans debating both the family dynamics and the rapper’s decision to make the footage public.
As of now, neither Doeboi909 nor his daughter has issued further comment.
