Travis Scott Nearly Got His Ass Beat For Postponing In Tulsa

0

The end of 2018 allowed Travis Scott to finally rise to the status of Drake, Meek Mill, and Nicki Minaj.

Tough Break

The Houston rapper truly made a name for himself with the release of Astroworld. His mainstream success, and hit single “Sicko Mode” topped the charts! Yet, Cardi B walked away with the Grammy for Best Album. In other words, even though he didn’t get the win, we look forward to what Scott will be dropping in 2019.

The Elephant In The Room

But, Scott’s decisions are not sitting too well with other African American celebrities at the moment. Most recently, the rapper decided to perform at the Superbowl, which has gained backlash after a racially charged dispute. Nick Cannon said Travis Scott ain’t here for black culture. After that, it was made clear that T.I. ain’t fucking with Travis Scott over the Superbowl either. Therefore, it’s safe to say that Scott isn’t the most popular kid on the block at the moment.

Melee In Tulsa

But, the Superbowl was just the beginning of Travis Scott’s problems. In addition, another blow came on Monday. The rapper announced that he had to postpone his concert in Tulsa, OK. Apparently, ongoing technical production issues were the culprit of the canceled event. The announcement came just two hours shy of the event. After that,  The Bok Center posted atweet that the event would be rescheduled for March 26th.  Therefore, the crowd turned aggressive and attempted to take the matter into their own hands. However, cops arrived on the scene to calm the melee that was sure to erupt. Let’s just say that the crowd was certainly ready for Travis Scott to get his ass beat.

But be honest, what do you all believe? Who would you like Scott to collaborate within the New Year?

Katy Perry Under Scrutiny TOO for Possible Blackface Shoes?

0

Katy Perry is being shamed for making a decision that she had no idea would come back to bite her in the ass.

TMZ has learned that an earlier shoe design, that Perry masterminded, is being pulled from the shelves. According to their sources, Walmart and Dillard’s will no longer carry the “Rue Face Slip-On Loafers” or the “Ora Face Block Heel Sandal,” because of the striking similarities to blackface.

A source close to the singer claims they are trying to rectify the situation.

“In order to be respectful and sensitive the team is in the process of pulling the shoes.”

The shoe, in question, features a pair of eyes, a nose, and a set of red lips. And although Perry’s shoes come in both beige and black, the black shoe hits a little too close to home for people. However, Perry and her team argue that it was not in their intentions to offend anyone.

The backlash stems from Italian designers like Gucci and Prada imitating blackface in their latest merchandise, earlier this month. Recently Gucci released a sweater which used attributes of a caricature created to poke fun at African-Americans. As a result, it has caused some to call for a boycott of their brand.

But what are your thoughts? Do you think Katy Perry is guilty of blackface?

Mexican Druglord El Chapo Found Guilty on All Counts!

Joaquin ‘El Chapo’ Guzman had a good run while it lasted.

But unfortunately, his life of crime, drugs, and violence are about to be behind him. The Mexican drug kingpin has been found guilty on all 10 counts being held against him. If you recall, his daughter even claimed he snuck into the U.S. two times!

They gave the verdict on Tuesday, in a federal courthouse in Brooklyn. A jury of 12 people returned guilty verdicts for his engagement in a continuing criminal enterprise, conspiracy to launder narcotics proceeds, international distribution of cocaine, heroin, marijuana, and other drugs and use of firearms.

TMZ reports that after jurors read the verdict out loud, Chapo was visibly confused, while his wife, Emma Coronel, sat saddened by the news.

The drug lord is looking at a mandatory life sentence, with no chance of parole.  He can expect to appear back in court on June 25. Starting that day, Chapo will be read his sentencing.

But hopefully, whatever his sentencing, he doesn’t escape this time around. Previously, El Chapo escaped through a tunnel, after his capture in 2014 by the Mexican government.

Thoughts? Does it surprise you that El Chapo was found guilty? Let us know by leaving a comment in our comment section.

New Details on Death of Angela Simmons Baby Father

1

Now that the autopsy report has been completed, new details are available for the death of Angela Simmons’ baby father, Sutton Tennyson.

As it turns out, Tennyson was shot 13 times in his home’s driveway, in Atlanta, Georgia. According to the report, obtained by TMZ, the bullets struck Tennyson’s chest, arms, legs, lungs, spleen, and his stomach. Three of the bullets caused severe damage to his heart, which later contributed to his death.

Tennyson died in November 2018. He left behind a son, Sutton Joseph Tennyson, whom he shared with Angela Simmons.

After the shooting, Tennyson’s alleged killer did turn himself into the authorities. However, according to HotNewHiphop, the alleged killer, Michael Williams, denies having anything to do with Tennyson’s murder. He does, however, suggest that the incident was prompted due to a disagreement over money.

As for Simmons, she continues to raise their son. It’s her first child, and though she admits that raising him alone is sometimes difficult, she’s getting over the hurdles of being a single parent.

Nicki Minaj Reached Petty God Level After Cardi B’s Grammy

2

The worst feeling in the world is to be snubbed and seeing your rival win big. Yesterday we witnessed Nicki Minaj reach final form of petty God level.

On Sunday night we all witnessed the underdog win big. For the better part of two years, we’ve questioned how far Cardi B could go. It was when her name was called that we realized that she broke through the barrier. The ghetto, rackett artist from the slums of New York made it to the biggest stage. Offset was cheering his wife on along with the crowd. Even though most were happy of course, there had to be a couple displeased. One of those individuals had to be none other than Nicki Minaj.

Petty God

Cardi managed to capture her first-ever Grammy Award, adding her name into the record books. Despite a night of celebration, we saw one particular person missing from the bunch. That person was none other than Young Money rapper Nicki Minaj. It was definitely Cardi’s night to shine, and without any Grammy Nominations Nicki decided to spear embarrassment. It’s no secret about the beef that has been building between the two artists since two years ago. Overall the two nearly came to blows at “Fashion Week”.

It was only a matter of time until petty people came out the woodwork on social media to rub the Bodak Yellow rapper’s Grammy in “Queen” face. Quickly Minaj turned petty and took to Twitter after the announcement on BET of Cardi winning “Best Rap Album”. At the moment it’s safe to say that Nicki has enough on her plate. Furthermore, we’re already aware that Nicki Minaj got enough dick, and her fifth album is on the way. For a moment we thought that the beef was really over when Cardi B and Nicki Minaj joined pussies to drag Tomi LahrenBut that was only for the moment.

Can they really end the beef at some point? How long until Offset ragged ass cheat again?

Kanye West Being Sued for Ripping Off A Four-Year-Old

Kanye West is being sued by the parents of a little girl, whom he sampled on his album, The Life of Pablo.

Andrew and Shirley Green are reporting that Mr. West never got their consent. But, in his defense, West claims to have asked the girl’s biological mother, Alice Johnson, for permission, via phone call.

However, the Greens state that they are the legal guardians of Natalie Green, the four-year-old girl’s voice you hear on the track in question. Therefore, he should have contacted them instead.

Back in 2014, The Life of Pablo was released. It came complete with 16 songs– one of those songs being the intro, “Ultralight Beam.” It is that track that listeners hear a snippet of the young child praying.

“We don’t want no devils in the house God. We want the lord, and that’s it. Hallej- hand over Satan. Jesus praise the Lord. Hallelujah God, we don’t want no devils in the house. God ,we want lord, and that’s it. Hallej- hand over Satan. Jesus praise the Lord.”

According to BuzzFeed News, the lawsuit also states that a written license and payment was never sent following the album’s debut– as promised.

The Greens are asking for profits stemming from “Ultralight Beam,” as well as an unspecified amount in damages.

Thoughts? Should Kanye West pay Natalie Green’s adoptive parents? Share your thoughts in our comment section.

Drake Said The Realest Shit Ever At The Grammys

When Drake speaks, you listen!

Last night’s Grammys was an interesting night of gagable moments, Alicia Keys’ flawless hosting skills, musical performances, and utter bullshit! With hip hop being an underrated category as most years, Drake had much to say about it.

“You’ve already won if you have people who are singing your songs word for word, if you’re a hero in your home-town… don’t need this right here, I promise you. You already won”

Drizzy was accepting his award for Best Rap Song, taking the prize for “God’s Plan.” But toward the tail end of his acceptance speech, it appeared he was cut off by the showrunners, who sent the telecast to a commercial break.

He seemed to be done with that train of thought and took a long pause, but then suddenly he tried to bring up a new topic and just like that, they cut his ass!

What is interesting to note is Drake’s decline to perform at this year’s award show.

Could that be why they cut him loose?

Regardless, do artists actually need Grammys to feel validated?

Bill Cosby Hasn’t Had One Single Prison Visit

0

Bill Cosby is lonelier than ever.

HotNewHipHop reports that the former comedian hasn’t had one single visitor since he’s started his prison sentence. But as it turns out, it’s been his wishes all along.

Reportedly, Cosby doesn’t want his family anywhere near the inside of a jail.

“He doesn’t want to have them in that environment.”

Andrew Wyatt, a spokesperson for Cosby, says that BC made the request early on. It is in Cosby’s belief that his family would only suffer more than they already are.

“Why put them in that position, to make it turn into some form of a circus?”

When the news first broke that BC was being charged with felony sexual assault, it was a media frenzy. And even though the pending results are over, the media still lights up at the mention of any new information regarding Dr. Cliff Huxtable.

Presently, BC is expected to serve a three-to- ten-year term. He’s currently served completed four months, and is to be relocated to a new single-unit cell at a new facility soon. And though the new facility is just a half-hour from his family home, it is to be expected that he’ll still decline visitors.

Thoughts? Do you think you could serve prison time without seeing your loved ones? Do you think it’s in the family’s best interests to stay away? Leave a comment below.

Drake, Kendrick and Gambino Said Fuck The Grammys!

70

We are only a few days away from the Grammy’s and we have all the tea!

This year is slated to have great performances, but it could have been better. Nominated rappers Cardi B, Travis Scott, and Post Malone are scheduled to perform. And Alicia Keys will be hosting for the evening! But three major artists declined. According to XXL, chart-topping rhymers, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and Childish Gambino declined the invitation to perform on “music’s biggest night.”

According to the story, the Grammys have always been reluctant to reward rappers with the prestigious award. Just think about it for a moment. Last year, Jay-Z was nominated for eight Grammy’s including Album of the Year with 4.44. He literally left empty-handed. However, Kendrick Lamar won all five of his Grammy nods but lost Album of The Year to Bruno Mars’ 24k Magic.

When asked about hip-hop and the Grammy’s Ken Ehrlich said:

“The fact of the matter is, we continue to have a problem in the hip-hop world. When don’t take home the big prize, the regard of the academy, and what the Grammys represent, continues to be less meaningful the hip-hop community, which is sad.”

So, for this year’s Album of the Year field, Cardi b, Drake and Post Malone will battle it out and probably lose to another fucking pop star. But it is unclear if they chose to decline due to animosity, but if so, we also agree and say fuck the Grammys!

So, can we agree that Kanye West was right when he threatened to Boycott the Grammy’s? I say yes!

But, what do you all believe? Why did Drake, Kendrick and Gambino decline? And, is hip-hop underrepresented at Award shows?

Blac Chyna’s Mother Thinks Dream is in Serious Danger

0

Blac Chyna and her mother might as well get in the boxing ring because Blac Chyna’s mom just uttered some fighting words.

Tokyo, Chyna’s mom, is basically calling Blac Chyna an unfit mother to her daughter Dream. TMZ had a chance to speak with Tokyo, where she says,

“It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see something is terribly wrong.”

According to Tokyo, Chyna’s life is in a rapid decline, and that it’s no place safe for a toddler to be around.

Her solution?

Well, Tokyo thinks that Dream’s father, Rob Kardashian, should have custody for the time being. Especially since BC’s been making the news for more bad than good these days.

Recently, Chyna’s been involved in two fights– one with Alexis Skyy and one more with her former boyfriend, Kid Buu, while vacationing in Hawaii. Not to mention, just last month, the cops were called to her home for matters involving intoxication and neglect. However, in that situation, the authorities didn’t find anything wrong, so no charges were made.

But who knows, maybe Tokyo might be making a valid point. Remember when Blac Chyna threw Dreams stroller at someone’s head?

Thoughts? Do you think Tokyo has a good point? Should Dream be sent to live with her father? Share your thoughts, using our comment section.

Tyra Banks to Open Model Inspired Theme Park?

0

Tyra Banks may have hung up her angel wings for the last time, but she’s still got the love of the catwalk.

The former Victoria Secret model, host, actress, and entrepreneur is channeling her love for modeling to help others embrace theirs. Recently reported Banks has announced that she’s launching a 21,000 square-foot theme park.

Set to open later this year, Banks is calling the park Modelland. It’ll be a ticketed attraction, which will aim to allow each visitor to “be the dream version of themselves.” Because according to America’s Next Top Model host, everyone deserves to feel like a supermodel, and the chance to be one.

“I created ‘Top Model’ to expand the definition of beauty based on my own pain of being told ‘no’ that I couldn’t do something because I’m curvy or I’m black. My empathy for women in general increased through the experience. And now with Modelland, I’m taking it 10 steps forward, giving people the opportunity to engage with the elusive world by opening it up to everyone. Men, women, families, all generations can come and enter this model world for a day, have a fun shopping experience, and an eventful meal. This will be the first of many.”

Modelland is to be an inclusive experience for all who visit and has been underway for the last 10 years. When the doors open, visitors can expect real shopping experiences, daily runway shows, restaurants, and user-generated content.

“It’s a permanent attraction anchoring the mall. I’m inspired by Disneyland, a place I went to a lot as a child. There is a storyline I have been working on for a year. Anybody can enter and feel like a model.”

Modelland will be located in the old Santa Monica Place shopping plaza. There is no currently any exact date of launch, or entrance fee. Tyra Banks says she got the idea for the name from a book she published about her life, in 2010.

Thoughts? Would you visit Modelland? Let us know in the comment section.

Cardi B Is Sure To Shit On You Hoes For The Grammys!!

Cardi B continues to be a major force in the world of entertainment.

The “Bodak Yellow” rapper had a hell of a year in 2018. She dominated the music charts and continued to win the hearts of people. Many people gravitate towards the rapper because of her genuine personality. Overall, Cardi B has always been outspoken. She’s the connection between everyday regular people and the world of celebrities.

Cardi’s hard work is fending to pay off as we get closer to The Grammy Awards Show. The show will take place this Sunday, February 10th at Los Angeles Staples Center. She has a total of five nominations and will be performing at the awards show. Cardi went from beating up bitches to The GrammysJust last week Cardi slayed for the girls at the Adult Video Awards.

From her upbringing to even being nominated is a hell of an accomplishment. Despite her success, the down to earth emcee admitted that she is getting nervous. The rapper shared her thoughts in an Instagram clip. Furthermore, fans took the time to reach out to her to encourage her. We already know that Cardi B’s dick downs from Offset means Kulture part 2 will happen sooner than later. Above all, winning a couple of Grammys, and having another baby sounds like a win in our books.

How many Grammys will Cardi B take home? Can we expect her and Offset to perform together?

Gucci Is Selling “Blackface” Turtle Necks For The Winter

4

Gucci has officially apologized for creating a wool sweater that resembles what many believe as blackface.

In a Twitter post on Wednesday, the Italian luxury brand apologized for the offense turtle neck that is causing a backlash. They stated:

But, regardless of an apology, the sweater has been extremely slammed on social media. Twitter immediately found the resemblance to blackface and emotions were put on full display!

Michael Booner even tweeted his frustration at the consistent racist imagery in media. He stated:

“One day I am going to deliver a prolific dissertation on how it feels to live in a continuous cycle of disrespect as a black man,” he said. “Gigantic brands like @gucci create offensive “fashion”, quickly apologize, state, ‘We did not know.” I don’t care. This is unacceptable.”

But, one member pointed out how the controversy was taking place during Black History Month.

But, let’s be clear. This is not the first time, fashion has been involved in racist imagery. Last year, Prada was caught spewing the same controversial imagery. The products that surfaced depicted money-like figures with black faces and large red lips. And the latest controversy comes as Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam faced criticism for an old yearbook photo exposed blackface and Ku Klux Klan symbolism. The Florida Secretary of State also resigned for blackface.  And Megyn Kelly won $30 million by making a comment on blackface. So basically, the shit has to fucking stop!

So, what do you all think? What will it take for us to stop supporting these racist brands?

Tekashi’s Cooperation With Feds Means Shotti Is Fucked!!

We saw it coming! The entertaining “King Of New York” days of trolling is now officially over!!

The Fame

Let’s be honest, it was only a matter of time before the beloved 6ix9ine had no choice but to turn on his affiliates. The rapper came into major stardom over the last two-yearS through entertaining antics. Tekashi reflected a different type of artist in the new day of hip-hop. It seemed that no matter what was happening in his personal life, the “DUMMY BOY” artist stayed Instagram popping off. However, rumors of cooperation seem to leave many people possibly turning their back on the artist.

Cooperation

Last week the entertainment world came into shock after it was confirmed that the Tr3way artist would be cooperating with the feds. Either way, you look at it, the New York rapper dug himself into a hole too big to get out of. 6ix9ine’s only hope would be to possibly receive a reduced sentence in his racketeering case. Overall, now it seems that the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods should have concerns the former member rumored to testify. Furthermore, his former manager Kifano “Shotti” Jordan could be on the wrong side of Tekashi’s cooperation and could face a negative impact on his case. This seems more than likely as the rainbow-haired rapper’s current attorney “Larry Lazzaro”, represented “Shotti” in a previous case.

We all know that at the end of the day, jail can provide pressure that causes people to turn on loved ones. When the rapper first was arrested he had a mentality of not snitching regardless of proof. That quickly changed after more and more evidence started pouring in. Even 50 Cent explained how Tekashi fucked up. Unfortunately, the rapper was too loud in the streets, trying to make a name for himself. Overall, it causes more harm than good when it came to entertaining people. After being booked it was even more drama continues as paternity suit filed against Tekashi. Another woman has come forward claiming that the rapper fathered their child. If the rapper decides to take the stand, there’s no turning back.

Do you think that Tekashi will take the stand? Do you think it’s worth it?
