Offset is done with marriage — and he’s not holding back about it.
The 33-year-old rapper opened up about his personal life during a candid appearance on the Full Send Podcast, where he made it clear he has no plans to walk down the aisle again after his split from Cardi B.
When asked if he would ever remarry, Offset answered bluntly:
“No. It’s not for me. I’ve done it, had three kids with it. It’s like a mission that’s been complete.”
The Atlanta native went on to explain why he’s completely against the idea, describing marriage as a commitment he no longer sees as permanent. “Everything’s temporary,” he said. When pressed on whether he would recommend marriage to others, Offset replied,
“Yeah, I’ll tell you don’t get married. Unless you’re cool with changing your life entirely. You got a partner, it’s different, especially when it’s written and it’s a real thing.”
He added that the sacrifices marriage requires don’t always match the rewards:
“I’m tired, like tiredly. You got a partner, it’s different. That’s a real thing. Even getting a girlfriend is such a big commitment — how we move, like our career.”
Offset’s hard stance comes after years of a turbulent relationship with Cardi B. The pair secretly married in 2017 and went on to share three children: Kulture, 6, Wave, 3, and daughter Blossom, who was born in September 2024.

Their marriage was often in the spotlight, marred by multiple cheating scandals, public breakups, and reconciliations. Cardi filed for divorce for the second time in July 2024, ending their on-and-off union. At one point, tensions escalated so much that Cardi told Offset she wanted him to “die slow” in response to his spousal support requests.
Offset has since admitted to his own mistakes in the relationship. “I realized I was wrong and had to get out of the way,” he said in a recent interview. Reflecting on the past, he now calls their relationship “great while it lasted” but ultimately “a book that’s closed.”
Instead of lingering on heartbreak, Offset has poured his experiences into his art. His most recent album, KIARI — released in August 2025 — includes a closing track titled “Move On,” which directly addresses his split from Cardi.
“It’s about moving on, like, peacefully. That’s what the message is supposed to be — moving on peacefully. It’s all love, peace,”
Offset told the Associated Press.
Offset doubles down on his bachelor mindset, and Cardi B has already moved forward in her love life. In June 2025, she made her relationship with NFL player Stefon Diggs Instagram official.
Despite their divorce, Cardi has emphasized the importance of co-parenting with her ex. “There isn’t a day that he’s not allowed to see my kids,” she told fans.
Offset says he’s focused on “protecting his peace and independence” while raising his children and continuing to build his music career. Whether his stance on marriage will soften in the future remains to be seen, but for now, the rapper insists he’s content with leaving that chapter firmly behind him and self-preservation.
