Nicki Minaj revealed to her followers that before she knew her worth, she let men treat her like trash. The news was shared via Twitter. Nicki posted a series of long messages, encouraging other women to learn their value like she did before it becomes too late.
“I used to be afraid to speak because I never knew what mood that person would be in, and I feared saying the wrong thing and getting hurt. But now, you see the difference in me – I feel lifted, safe, appreciated, and unconditionally loved, like a woman should.”
She also writes about women learning to stick together and learning how to help one another out if abuse is suspected.
“When you spot a woman in a toxic relationship, instead of mocking or being hurtful, try sharing genuine advice and support her journey to realize her value. We’ve all experienced similar situations. Growing up, I witnessed my parents’ constant fights without separation, so I believed this was just how things were…”

Nicki is now in a relationship with a former prison bae, Kenneth Petty, says Page Six. And allegedly the two are set to get married any day now. They supposedly obtained a wedding license, and have 90 days before it expires.
It’s unclear which former relationship Nicki is referring to. Before Kenneth, Nicki was connected to rapper Meek Mill and Safaree. Though, she could be talking about a relationship she had even before she met them.
