Linda Vista Skate Park ‘Karen’ Gets Lesson From SDPD Officer

A short bystander video from Linda Vista Skate Park in San Diego blew up online real quick. It shows a San Diego police officer taking down and handcuffing a barefoot woman right on the concrete. The clip is only about 38 seconds long and was filmed either Wednesday evening or Thursday, March 26, 2026.

In this video, however, the woman is already in the midst of a confrontation with the cop. She is pulling away and struggling. She is also not paying attention to whatever it is that he is saying to her. In the end, he has no other choice but to physically take her down. He slams her face down on the concrete of the skate park. While she is down on the ground, she is still struggling. You can also see her shoes and sunglasses lying on the ground. You can’t really hear what she is saying in this version.

Apparently, people on social media have been filling in all the background information. A series of social media posts suggest that this woman, who is supposedly around 40 years of age, had been harassing or acting strangely towards teenagers and little kids at the park the day before or earlier that day. People were fed up with her and decided to call the police. When police arrived at scene, she allegedly refused to cooperate and became aggressive towards the police. In addition to that, she also attempted to bite one of the cops. Some people also stated that pepper spray was used.

One bodycam guy, @Thefactsdude, posted the video with the caption:

“California Karen in Linda Vista Skate Park learned a lesson to stop acting inappropriately around children from a San Diego police officer.”

Reactions are all over the place. A lot of people are backing the officer, commenting stuff like

“play stupid games, win stupid prizes,”

and saying good on him for stepping in when kids were involved. Others think the concrete takedown looked too rough, especially without the full story, and point out she was still fighting even after she was already down.

The video’s gotten thousands of views in less than 48 hours, with big accounts like @macethesk8r and @oc_inside resharing it.

To date, San Diego police have said nothing. We don’t know anything about whether anybody was hurt, who this woman is, or whether she was booked. This is a city where skate parks are basically a community space, a place where kids hang out, and so something like this creates a whole big debate about safety, mental health, and how police deal with this sort of thing.
