Lil Nas X is taking a break from music.
At the climax of his career, Lil Nas X says its time for a brake.
On Friday, Lil Nas X took to twitter to share some information with his fans. The tweet includes his absence with two upcoming performances.
“It’s been a wild last 7 months and I’m ready to take a little time off,” he said on Twitter. “Sorry to everyone attending twitchcon or the sandbox music festival, I will not be there. I love u guys and will make it up to you some way.”

Lil Nas was killing the billboard charts taking the No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for weeks breaking the record for the longest-running No. 1 single.
As of now, there is no word on when he is expected to make a return.
In a recent Instagram post, Fiona Apple sent a message to Lil Nas X for sampling one of her songs without asking saying;
“Lil Nas X—you’re probably really great, but you used my song ‘Every Single Night,’” she said. “And, um, hey, where’s my money, you cute little guy? Where’s my money?”
We as of yet have no idea if that has to do with his recent hiatus… you be the judge!
