In spite of such prescriptive media pressure, Lana gushed about Jeremy as her “one and only,” while underscoring happy they truly are together. The two got married in a private ceremony on September 26, 2024, in Louisiana’s bayou.
The intimate wedding of the couple was held in the secluded bayou, where Jeremy operates his alligator tours, deeply connected with his roots in Louisiana. Lana walked down the aisle to the few closest in her family in a floor-length, white gown, flanked by her father, as the few closest family members surrounded them. The ceremony was serene, a perfect reflection of the quiet life the pair hopes to lead away from the public eye.
Everything was fine until that feeling of privacy was short-lived.
Lana has always been candid with her followers, but since marriage, it has been tough for her to resist the media frenzy around her. Currently, she’s using her social media to air her grievances about the invasion of privacy by the local paparazzi concerning her and Jeremy in Louisiana.
“Unfortunately, the local couple from Houma really refuse to stop flying drones into our windows every morning and following us with a tracker,”
she wrote in an Instagram post. Lana made it clear though she and Jeremy are “very happy, the constant surveillance has been exhausting.
Lana and Jeremy’s love story is right out of a romance novel. The two, born in England, have known each other for a couple of years but only reconnected early this year. Their romance moved along pretty quick, their “whirlwind romance” featuring a surprise wedding just a few months into reconnecting. Yes, these things did move fast, but Lana speaks highly of being with Jeremy, calling him a kind and rock-steady presence in her life.
Jeremy serves as a tour guide of locals and visitors alike through the bayou, taking them on alligator adventures. Up until recently, he has been keeping a rather low profile, but Lana seems to have brought new eyes upon him-and him and Lana struggle to get used to that.
The marriage also got the attention of Jeremy’s ex-fiancée, Kelli Welsh, who shared her surprise with how fast things happened between him and Lana. “It all happened fast,” she shared. “I am surprised at how fast it happened, but I wish them the best.” “He’s stepping out of his comfort zone, and I’m happy for him,” Kelli said of the couple’s very conflicting lifestyles when meeting. However, Lana’s fans and followers have shown themselves in full support of the singer.
