Kodak Black is still a big fan of President Donald Trump, even after his arrest on weapons charges this week. That’s largely because the rapper received a pardon from President Trump last year, and he’s shown his gratitude on social media in the past.
Earlier this month, the ‘Super Gremlin’ lyricist shared his latest song, “Lost A Lotta People This Year,” which also references President Trump. Despite this, Black seems to have a case of the blues right now, which may be connected to his recent beef with former best friend Jackboy.

Still defending Trump after that pardon
On Monday (November 20), the ‘Gnarly’ rapper took to Instagram Live to defend the president after his arrest for drug possession, calling it the “best thing ever.” He’s also expressed his appreciation for the President’s help in avoiding prison following his sex assault case.
According to the Associated Press, Kodak Black was pulled over by Florida Highway Patrol officers on Friday because of “window tints that were darker than the legal limit.” When the police searched the car, they found 31 oxycodone pills in a clear bag and $74,960 in cash.
The AP notes that the Florida Highway Patrol is investigating Black’s actions. The officer said that the rapper’s license and tags were expired, and he smelled marijuana when he was stopped.
It was a bad decision for the police to make, the rapper says. He says that he was driving an SUV and had windows that were tinted, which is illegal in Florida.
However, he also points out that the driver of the vehicle he was a passenger in was also pulled over for having a tinted window and an expired license. He said that he’s “never been arrested like this in my life,” adding, “It’s a shame that the guy who was just a cop, and it wasn’t a good situation for him at all.”
Is Kodak Black a sell out?
This isn’t the first time that Kodak Black has been in trouble with the law. He was previously arrested on weapons charges, and last month he was arrested in Miami for trying to bring a gun into the US.
In addition to this, he was recently involved in a shooting. This happened during a Super Bowl afterparty, and four people were shot outside of a West Hollywood restaurant, including Kodak and Gunna.
He was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and is expected to survive his injuries. He was seen leaving hospital on Tuesday (February 15), but his condition has not yet been revealed to the public.
‘Gnarly’ rapper Kodak Black has been in a bit of trouble lately, but that doesn’t mean that he won’t be around for a long time to come. He just has to keep fighting the good fight and keeping his promise to give back to the community.
On a lighter note, he has been spending a lot of time with his mom and is making some new music. He’s been working on a new album called Back for Everything, which is coming out this February. He’s also featured on Kendrick Lamar’s latest record, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, and has some songs in the works.
