The reality star showed that she has no issues with her ex-husband. She rapped and danced to Kanye West’s music at Pharrell’s debut show for Louis Vuitton. The SKIMS founder shared a video on her Instagram Story of Jay-Z and West’s song “Ni***s in Paris.” This was during the rappers’ performance at Pharrell’s Louis Vuitton debut fashion show.
Pharrell made his first show as Louis Vuitton, men’s creative director. He debuted at the brand’s Spring 2024 collection Tuesday evening at Pont Neuf. A historic bridge in central Paris transformed into a starlit runway to host a fashion-world extravaganza. He drew a star-studded crowd, including Beyonce, Jay-Z, Rihanna, and Kim Kardashian. It was Williams’ first show since he took over from Virgil Abloh as Louis Vuitton’s menswear designer following the latter’s death in November.
Pharrell envisioned a new streetwear style for his debut and brought back the Damier pattern. Pixelated and camouflaged was a signature motif. He also reimagined the house’s iconic trunks as messenger bags, oversized faux fur coats, and sporty jumpsuits. In addition to the collection’s sleek suiting and Earth tones, the designer introduced a range of casual ready-to-wear, including glitch camo sweatshirts and even a pajama set.
Throughout the show, a choir and orchestra sang as models walked the runway in a palette of grays and greens. All while a dance troupe and live performers performed. Then, Pusha T and his brother No Malice debuted a new song from their duo Clipse during a performance that featured a mix of West and the rappers’ hits.
Kim Kardashian attended the show and wore an LV logo-adorned, digitized camouflage look. The look included high-waisted shorts and leggings. She paired her outfit with an oversized furry fanny pack and perspex-style heels.
The star was enjoying herself during the event, which is no surprise considering she’s close with West and their children. Earlier on Wednesday, Kim credited Kanye for being “right sometimes” when scaling back daughter North’s use of TikTok.
This is the latest development in a long-running feud between the pair that has gone downhill in recent years. Last year, the two were engaged in a back-and-forth over their relationship and business dealings. While things seem to be smoothing over now, the relationship was so strained that Kim publicly apologized for their behavior.
