How Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld Met
The pair are really serious about each other. The two have been getting close since the beginning of this year. They were first linked in May, when they were spotted out on a sushi date in New York City.
Ever since their first date, the two set their eyes on each other. The outing followed rumors that Allen’s longtime girlfriend, Brittany Williams, had broken up with him. Williams later unfollowed Allen on Instagram, and photos of them together disappeared from her page.
In June, the two were pictured kissing and packing on PDA during a Fourth of July getaway in Mexico. The following month, the couple went shopping for clothes in Buffalo. They both wore dark looks, with Allen wearing a black T-shirt and jeans and Steinfeld rocking a black minidress with high heels.
The next day, the pair bonded with Allen’s mother Lavonne at a local clothing store. She wore a Wyoming sweatshirt—a nod to the university that the quarterback attended. In a recent episode of his podcast, Allen implied that the relationship is official.
While he didn’t mention Steinfeld’s name, he did talk about the importance of privacy in dating. He emphasized that he wants to have a relationship without the paparazzi watching them every step of the way. Their relationship came just a few months after Steinfeld’s split from actor Josh Schwartz, with whom she had been dating since 2017.
The two had been together for about three years. In August 2023, Allen indirectly addressed the rumor that he had a girlfriend when he appeared on the Pardon My Take podcast. When cohosts Dan “Big Cat” Katz and Eric Sollenberger jokingly brought up the possibility of him and Steinfeld being an item, Allen didn’t object.
The pair went out together again in October, this time shopping at Buffalo’s Fashion Walk mall. They both opted for darker looks, with Steinfeld rocking a black minidress and high heels and Allen wearing a dark suit. They also stepped out in Buffalo’s downtown area, where they visited a local brewery.
More recently, the couple was spotted out for dinner in New York’s Chelsea neighborhood on December 19. While they didn’t address their relationship status directly, they both looked happy and relaxed as they enjoyed their meal.
