G. Finesse has released yet another triumphant single from his upcoming album East Side Pain.
Following his “Keep The Fame” collaboration featuring Kim Dawson, the Denver-based MC uses his lyrical gifts to motivate his listeners with his inspiring new effort “We Gon’ Make it.”
“And even when things get tough and uncertain/we’ll overcome it, yeah, yeah, yeah/don’t give up, baby, keep pushing through,” raps G. Finesse.
G. Finesse unleashes a new batch of vocal frequencies and melodies on the Jay. Greens and Josh Fairman-produced track as he expands on the rich and luxurious, instrument-driven composition he has been experimenting with for years.
Sticking to the same musically triumphant frequency he previously tapped into on “Keep The Fame,” G. Finesse has assembled an All-Star cast of producers and musicians for “We Gon’ Make It.” The impressive track features Isaac Teel on drums, Borahm Lee on keys, Kim Dawson on backup vocals, and Brian Harrington on guitar, who has been a longstanding collaborator with G. Finesse. G. Finesse, known for his band Black Eagle, gained a significant following in his hometown of Columbus. With releases like “We Gon’ Make It,” he fully embodies his blues-infused, boom-bap Hip Hop style, thriving in his element.
Since moving to Denver three years ago, G. Finesse has locked himself into the studio as he and his team further developed and refined his sound and harnessed his creativity into his forthcoming album East Side Pain.
G. Finesse’s debut release for Perception Records, a community-oriented record label in the Denver metro area founded by Jay. Green, has arrived.
In addition to his recent singles, G. Finesse collaborated with Midnight. Blue, his labelmate at Perception Records, on the track “20/20” featured on Blue’s album “Breathe.”
He also recently released the punchy boom-bap single “Still Miss You” and the rap-heavy music video “Ya Know” featuring the talented Black Eagle collective.
