Future HOFer RB Adrian Peterson Agrees To Turn His Life Around

Veteran RB Adrian Peterson has agreed to complete 20 sessions of domestic and alcohol violence counseling sessions reported ESPN. Currently, the future HOFer is a free agent. However, while he’s not on a team it’s beautiful to see he’s attempting to take control of his life again. Adrian Peterson has had some trouble in his past with violence in general.

According to spokesman Rob Wilcox, Peterson has agreed to the sessions pre-failing hearing held Friday as another option other than prosecution in the case. Many may think that he only agreed simply to avoid being punished any further.

Police received a call around 8:30 am local time about domestic violence on an airplane. The plane was bound for Houston and responded to an altercation between a male and female victim, according to Los Angeles Police department. The 36-year-old RB was locked up at the Los Angeles Police Department. Ultimately, he was later released on a $50,000 bond. While Peterson continues to struggle at times, his wife, Ashley Peterson speaks highly of Peterson throughout the entire situation via Instagram.

“On Sunday, Adrian and I had a verbal argument. Unfortunately, it was on an airplane. At no point did Adrian hit or strike me. This is a private matter between my husband and myself. We ask that everyone respect our privacy so we can focus on what matters most: our children.”

Last time the NFL has seen Adrian Peterson

The 15-year veteran finished the past season on IR with the Seattle Seahawks. These last several seasons, he’s attempted to play on different rosters. He had a short run with the Tennessee Titans. He played three games with 27 attempts, and 82 rushing yards for one touchdown per ESPN.

Peterson has rushed for 14,820 career rushing yards, which is the fifth-most in NFL history, according to USA Today. He’s a bonafide future HOFer running back that Titans HC Mike Vrable trusted and spoke extremely high during his time with the teams.

“Go as hard as you can, take care of the football, try to learn the details of the play, play with great effort, and don’t do dumb stuff to hurt the team.”

Hopefully things get better for Adrian Peterson.
