Florida Teen Arrested in Alabama for Armed Vape Store Robbery & Stolen Car

A masked 17-year-old walked into a Florida vape shop with a handgun, calmly told the employees to fill a bag with merchandise, casually chatted with them about what they had in stock, and strolled out without firing a shot or taking any cash.

That evening of June 4, 2026, just after seven thirty-seven, the place went quiet when he walked in. Xavier Nicoll stood there in dark clothes, hood up, a pale cross stitched across his front. A firearm came out, aimed straight at the workers behind the counter. His voice stayed calm while words spilled out fill the bag, that’s all, just put everything inside. No shouting, no wild moves, only steady pressure in every syllable. The shop, called OG Smoke N Vape, sat in Bonita Springs, where streetlights hummed outside. Time moved slow even though it was over fast

“Just pull it over here,” and “I don’t want any problems.”

At one point he even asked,

“Y’all got weed here?”

An employee loaded the bag mostly with vapes. No one was hurt.

Surveillance video from multiple angles inside the store helped investigators quickly. After a missing persons report was filed, Nicoll’s own family members watched the footage and recognized him by his clothes and build. They also told deputies about a damaged safe at home and a missing handgun that matched the one in the video.

On June 5, officials report Nicoll took a car from nearby Collier County. After crossing into Alabama, the drive ended near Dothan when officers moved in. A brief pursuit unfolded there, led by local law enforcement. Now held in Dothan, he awaits transfer back to Florida custody.

Facing tough legal trouble in Lee County, Nicoll is accused of armed robbery along with having a gun while underage. Additional counts tied to the getaway vehicle and high-speed pursuit may come up soon ones that stretch into Alabama and Collier County. This isn’t his first run-in with a smoke shop court records show he had a prior juvenile case for breaking into one back when he was in 8th grade.

Outrage spread fast online after folks saw just how relaxed he seemed while holding someone up. People keep saying he should face adult charges, especially since this isn’t his first run-in with trouble. Others started talking about how easy it is for young ones to find guns lying around the house. A growing number wonder why vape stores are being hit so often lately. Police moving quickly between states made some curious how they caught up to him that soon.

Seventeen-year-old Nicoll might land in adult court thanks to serious felony accusations that pack a strong legal punch under Florida law. Right now, officials are moving forward with transfer procedures while details across several states continue to develop slowly behind the scenes.
