Finesse2Tymes has surrendered to authorities in Harrison County following an emotional Instagram Live in which he said he felt abandoned by both his family and members of the rap community.
The rapper — born Ricky Hampton — told fans on his Instagram Story on Nov. 19, 2025, that he planned to turn himself in. He was officially booked into the Harrison County Jail early the next morning.
Hours before walking into the jail, Finesse2Tymes spoke for several minutes on Instagram Live, expressing frustration and hurt as he discussed the outstanding warrant and the pressure he says he’s been facing in his personal life and career.
He opened the livestream by explaining why he was turning himself in, saying:
“I turned myself in, man, they had, they put a, they put a warrant out for me, man, so, just so n** won’t get on the internet playing with my name and get talking about all that old other shit, talking about all them games and all n****s go to jail and get out of jail and all that old dick sucking ass, hating ass shit, we ain’t finna do all that shit.”**
The rapper went on to say he was given a bond estimated between $125,000 and $150,000 and described feeling overwhelmed by conflict within his inner circle.
“Long story short, man… they gave me like $125,000, $150,000 bond. I got way too much shit going on. Family going against me. I can’t lose, cuz, I can’t win, cuz… But I’m gonna win, though… It’s all good, I’m going through this shit for a reason, you hear me?”
He continued, claiming people were quick to criticize him but refused to support his music:
“Anytime you look up a n** hating on me… Won’t post a n**** music, though, won’t share a n**** shit, won’t comment, won’t like nothing, won’t show a n**** no love… but then I’m quick to speak on some bad shit.”**
Finesse2Tymes then made clear that despite the negativity, he intended to continue releasing music:
“When I come out, I’m dropping banger. No matter what you say… can’t none of you ns stop this shit. Jail can’t stop this shit. You ns can’t stop this shit. This shit forever going up, dawg.”
The surrender comes just weeks after the rapper was arrested in Dallas, Texas, on several charges, including marijuana possession, possession of controlled substances, tampering with evidence, and bringing prohibited items into a correctional facility.
The series of arrests throughout 2025 has sparked conversation among fans and critics about the challenges he’s been facing — and the pattern of legal setbacks that continues to follow him.
Much of the rapper’s recent commentary has centered on a strained relationship with his family. Earlier this year, his mother, Pluria Alexander, launched a GoFundMe campaign seeking $6,000 for moving expenses, saying she was facing eviction following what she described as a falling out with her son.
Alexander later criticized him in a livestream of her own, claiming he was spending money on “weed, jewelry, and [expletive]” instead of helping family members who needed support.
Finesse2Tymes responded through a freestyle released in August, rapping about family problems and comparing his situation to the emotional struggles once described by Eminem. He also alleged that people close to him had “failed to support” him during earlier legal battles.
Throughout 2025, the rapper has turned to Instagram Live frequently to speak directly to fans about his frustrations — from family conflicts to his legal issues. But despite his steady music output, his recurring arrests have continued to overshadow his career.
Even so, he told followers during his latest livestream that he remains determined to keep pushing forward.
“This doesn’t stop,” he said. “It’s forever going up.”
As of now, authorities have not released additional details on his upcoming court proceedings.
