Fetty Wap is ready for the next chapter.
Just a couple of months after popping the question in a candlelit backyard proposal, the “Trap Queen” rapper and his fiancée Alexis have revealed that wedding bells are on the horizon. In recent social media posts circulating this week, Alexis shared that she “can’t wait to marry the love of my life,” confirming the couple is already looking ahead to their big day.
The engagement itself first became public on July 20, when Alexis took to Instagram (@lilsex_) with a simple but powerful caption: “I said yes!” She posted a carousel of photos and video from the intimate night, giving fans a clear look at the moment Fetty got down on one knee.
The setup was pure romance — pink roses everywhere, rose petals scattered across the ground, glowing white candles, and a large heart-shaped floral display framing a neon “Will you marry me?” sign. Fetty, dressed in white, presented her with a sparkling square-cut diamond ring. Alexis, wearing a fitted black dress, looked overcome as she said yes, kissed her new fiancé, and accepted a bouquet of roses from friends and family nearby.
The couple had kept their relationship mostly private until that night, so the announcement landed as a genuine surprise. (For the record, this Alexis is not the same as reality star Alexis Skyy, with whom Fetty previously had a high-profile relationship.)
The timing feels meaningful. Fetty was released from federal prison in early January after serving a little over three years of a six-year sentence on drug conspiracy charges. He’s been under supervised release since then and dropped his comeback album Zavier in March. The engagement — and now the talk of a wedding — arrives as he continues rebuilding both his personal life and his career.
No official date or venue has been announced yet. For now, the focus remains on the simple message Alexis shared: she’s ready to marry the man she calls the love of her life.
