Eminem has become a grandfather for the second time.
The rapper’s eldest daughter, Alaina Marie Scott, whom he adopted in the early 2000s, and her husband Matt Moeller welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Scottie Marie Moeller, on April 14, 2026.
Alaina shared the news on Instagram on April 16, posting sweet photos of the newborn — including one featuring a custom knitted onesie embroidered with “Scottie” — while keeping the baby’s face mostly private. In her caption, she wrote:
“My heart outside my body. She’s everything and more. Scottie Marie Moeller born 4/14/26. Welcome to the world my sweet darling🕊️.”
She further explained the name choice, saying it honors her “Scott sisters” — a nod to the close bond she shares with her sisters Hailie Jade Scott and Stevie Laine Scott. “The women who have given the name and my life so much meaning,” Alaina added. “May she now give it a meaning of her own and always know how loved she is, by mom + dad, and her aunties.”
To her husband, she added: “To my husband, I can’t believe she’s ours. Thank you for giving me the greatest gift of my life. I love you endlessly.”
The arrival comes roughly a year after Eminem’s biological daughter Hailie Jade gave birth to her son, Elliot Marshall McClintock, in March 2025 — making the “Lose Yourself” rapper a grandfather for the first time. Hailie had previously expressed excitement about becoming an aunt, commenting on Alaina’s pregnancy announcement that she couldn’t wait for Elliot to meet his cousin.
Alaina and Matt have been together since the mid-2010s. They got engaged in December 2021 and tied the knot in June 2023, with Eminem walking his daughter down the aisle. The couple first announced the pregnancy in October 2025 with an emotional Instagram post in which Alaina surprised Matt with a positive pregnancy test and “Baby M” balloons.
Eminem shares three daughters with his ex-wife Kim Scott: Alaina (adopted), Hailie Jade (biological, born 1995) and Stevie Laine (adopted in 2005). The sisters have remained close over the years, publicly supporting one another, including at Alaina’s baby shower earlier this year.
The news marks another full-circle family moment for the 53-year-old hip-hop icon, who has frequently referenced his complex upbringing, struggles with fatherhood and deep love for his daughters in his music — from the early hit “Mockingbird” to more recent reflections on family.
