Remarkably, Joel Embiid is still going strong. In fact, in the first 28 minutes, Embiid managed a career-high 36 points during the game against the Wizards. His stats speak for themself with 14 out of 18 shots and a string of agressive shooting. In large part, his contribution helped the Philadelphia 76ers to victory.
“it was one-on-one, and I wanted to take advantage of it. Iguess that’s on them to make that choice. It’s hard to stop me if you send a double-team or not.”
Moreover, It’s clear Embiid is on a high after a spectactular performance and dominance during game 3. Fortunately, It appears that his dicipline to get into better shape and focus on improving is having a positive impact on his confidence and ability to follow through. And he is expressing that confidence with on court celebrations including a wresting signature known foundly through the 90’s with D-Generation X.

Simmons has received tons of criticism for his shooting and performance in game one against the Wizards. However, it does seem that he has learned from that mistake. Consequently, Ben scored 14 points, 5 rebounds, and nine assists during game three. Simmons ability to read the coverage and set up his teammates to score has been a great asset during their series against the Wizards. That performance isn’t going unnoticed. Doc Rivers highlights his playmaking ability.
“That’s two games where Ben recognized the coverage. They changed the coverage in game one. Today, they changed the personnel on him. I thought Ben really saw that early on. WHen we saw it, we were like full steam every time.
Now, the Philadelphia 76ers are giving fans plenty to cheer about during this series. Here’s hoping that they can continue with this success. Philadelphia could use a team to rally for. And if their performance continues, fans may be able to cheer them on live as Wells Fargo will follow Citizen’s Bank Park’s lead in allowing fans back into the stadium.
