DRAKE OFFICIALLY CANCELLED HIS LOLLAPALLOOZA PERFORMANCE IN BRAZIL

After being spotted partying with 50 cent at a club in Miami hours before he was supposed to perform at Lollapalooza Brazil, drake officially cancelled his performance. The decision left many fans feeling disappointed and upset.

Drake had originally been scheduled to close out the three-day festival on Sunday night, but was replaced with Skrillex. Organizers announced that the cancelation was due to “unforeseen circumstances” with members of Drizzy’s production team.

In an Instagram post, the festival explained that ticket holders would be offered refunds if they choose not to attend.

However, many fans are still pissed that Drake was spotted partying with 50 Cent before he was supposed to headline the event.

In a video posted to social media, Drake and 50 Cent could be seen dancing together and laughing at each other as a song by 50 Cent played inside the club. The footage quickly sparked outrage on social media and a few people are calling for Drake to issue an official statement.

DRAKE PAYS TRIBUTE TO 50 CENT

After meeting with 50 Cent in the club in Miami, drake paid tribute to him by donning his face on his shirt. It was an obvious homage to the queens native, but he got some backlash for it.

Drizzy was scheduled to perform at Lollapalooza Brasil this weekend, but he cancelled his performance because of “apparent unforeseen circumstances” involving members of his sound and production team. He also performed at the Argentina and Chile editions of the festival last week, which were much shorter sets than usual.

The rapper isn’t afraid to go head to head with the competition, as he infamously went up against rap rival Kanye West in 2010. Their epic battle was a turning point for the rap industry and the genre itself. The two rappers had a lot to prove, and the results were clear: West won.

    DRAKE TRIBUTE TO RIP TAKEOFF

After meeting with 50 cent in the club in Miami, drake decided to pay tribute to his fallen friend. He then posted a photo on social media of him with 50 cent’s face on his chemise.

As news of Takeoff’s death broke, a wave of hip hop figures joined in the tributes. Including Tyler, the Creator, Gucci Mane and Killer Mike, the stars shared their heartfelt feelings on Twitter.

While Takeoff wasn’t a big name like Quavo and Offset, he was a rapper with plenty of talent. He was more reserved than his two colleagues and had just recently released an album with Quavo, Only Built For Infinity Links.

While the death of Takeoff has devastated the hip-hop community, it’s also brought back memories of an epic moment in music history. When rap’s two biggest names, 50 cent and Kanye West, fought over album sales supremacy in 2007 it put a spotlight on the genre.

DRAKE PAYS TRIBUTE TO RIP KIRSNICK KHARI BALL

Tragedy struck in Houston, Texas, on November 1st as Kirsnick Khari Ball, the Migos rapper known as Takeoff, lost his life in a fatal shooting. The 28-year-old emcee, who joined the rap trio alongside Offset and Quavo, was at a bowling alley when he died.

The death of the young artist has been felt across the hip-hop world. Rappers and fans alike have paid tribute to the slain musician, who was born in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

Thousands of people gathered in Atlanta on Friday to pay their respects at Takeoff’s “Celebration of Life” service. The event, which started shortly after noon and lasted several hours, was attended by Cardi B, Offset, Quavo and many other celebrities.

Takeoff’s family requested donations be made to The Rocket Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing gun violence in the community. The organization’s website says that the foundation will help to support youth development, education and job training. In addition, it will be distributing scholarships to young people.
