Don’t Miss Out: Chance the Rapper’s Acid Rap 10th Anniversary Concert in Chicago

Chance the Rapper plans a concert for his Acid Rap 10th anniversary concert in Chicago! As an artist, Chance’s music is all about expressing himself and making sense of his world in the best way possible. It’s also about tackling real-world topics that matter to him, like racism and violence.

Chance the Rapper Performs at the United Center This Friday, April 28

After releasing his breakthrough and legendary mixtape titled Acid Rap in 2013, Chance the Rapper became a household name. He went on to release Coloring Book, and the Grammy-winning album Big Day. Now, the rapper is preparing for his next body of work with his new album, Star Line Gallery.

He’s teamed up with Gabonese artist Naila Opiangah for the artwork on the project, and has also worked with Chicago-raised artists Nikko Washington and Troy Gueno. The results are compelling, interdisciplinary works that combine art and cinematography.

Ticket sales for the Acid Rap show start Friday, April 28th at 10 a.m. local time. Additional pre-sales are also available for the Chance Stans. The event features a special guest for the hometown fans. Saba, a fellow Chicago native, joins Chance onstage to perform a mix of tracks.

10th year anniversary of acid rap

“Chance is thrilled to bring his ‘Acid Rap’ 10-Year Anniversary Tour’ to the Windy City.”

While Chance the Rapper hasn’t been a fan of Chicago’s United Center in recent years, he’s said it was an incredibly important part of his musical journey.

It’s no secret that Chance has a huge fan base; he reportedly makes more than $8 million per season on NBC’s The Voice. While this isn’t a lot of money, it’s enough to keep him going and keep putting out more great music.

Chance can also be seen at the Blue Note Jazz Festival this year

With an impressive music career and a long list of other responsibilities, including being a husband and father to two daughters, it’s no wonder Chance is so busy. But he always makes time to be his best self, which is what keeps his fans coming back for more.

Aside from touring, Chance the Rapper is also a philanthropist. He founded SocialWorks, an arts and education nonprofit that helps underserved communities in Chicago. The organization’s goals include promoting creative self-expression and empowering youth to achieve their dreams through music, art, and community engagement.

The 10th anniversary concert will be one for the ages

He’s also got a thriving music business, with over 50 million streams of his music on Spotify alone. His estimated net worth is somewhere around $26 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. He is a coach on the current season of The Voice, and has a number of other ventures in the works.

While the rapper has been a success from the beginning, it’s his relaxed attitude that will ultimately set him apart from other successful rap artists. His calming presence and honest music resonate with a new generation of fans who aren’t looking to listen to a rapper’s egocentric or overly-polished style.
