DDG Wants to Have More Kids with Halle Bailey Instead of Multiple Baby Mamas

In a YouTube vlog, rapper and YouTuber DDG recently kept it real with his fans when he shared some heartfelt thoughts about his ex-girlfriend Halle Bailey and their family. Though the two remain broken up, DDG opened up about wanting more children with Halle, saying he doesn’t want to have kids with multiple people. He admitted that he’s not about the “multiple baby mamas” dynamic and would much rather raise his family with one person, with whom he shares his son, Halo.

Speaking of Halo, the 11-month-old is already a huge part of DDG’s life. In his vlog, DDG let it be known that he’d love for Halo to have a sibling close in age. That doesn’t make any sense to him; the youngsters should be of an age where they can grow up with each other, share experiences, and bond well. But it doesn’t feel right that Halo should be an only child or have an older sibling. It is a very personal wish that speaks much about DDG valuing the concept of family, especially now that he is a dad.

As far as his relationship status is concerned, DDG was in a hurry to clarify. He is not dating anyone currently; most of his time is devoted to his career and responsibilities as a dad. He’s been at the center of enough speculation that DDG was quick to assert that nothing mattered regarding Halo and his work. The noise around him doesn’t matter; he will keep his feet on the ground and do his job. The relationship between DDG and Halle has been a see-saw affair.

The two first made headlines in early 2022 when they were spotted attending Usher’s Las Vegas residency. From that point forward, things took off, and by March, DDG made it public that the two were a couple. It seemed their affair was only growing, and Halle showed up in DDG’s music video for his song “If I Want You.” Despite all this media attention, not everything was going well. From the rumors of cheating on DDG’s part to his prior relationships with ex-girlfriend Rubi Rose, things were not good. But with the bumps, finally in January 2024 came their son, Halo. It all ended with them breaking up by October 2024, anyhow.

This breakup, which DDG announced through his Instagram account, left fans with mixed feelings. He was open about the split to some, but to others, that was too much to air out in public. One of the most talked-about moments was when DDG dropped a song called “Famous. ” In it, he expressed being insecure about Halle’s rising fame and her interactions with male co-stars. That song got so much backlash, and fans quickly felt their girl Halle.

And if that wasn’t enough, old cheating rumors started to flicker again, adding even more fuel to the fire. Meanwhile, despite everything, DDG emphasized that he and Halle are, and will forever be, family because of their son Halo. He then sincerely requested fans to respect their privacy, reasoning that online commentaries take a great toll on the dynamic of their love.

Transparency regarding all this, however, shines upon its light of fatherhood. Approaching Halo’s first birthday, DDG can’t help but think about how much being a dad has changed his life. While the drama in his current relationship with Halle may continue to brew, being a father brings a different kind of joy and satisfaction he never thought he needed. He’s hyped to see Halo grow and is all in on being the best dad he can be. Of course, if DDG might be living a life so complicated between personal issues, one thing is for sure: his love for Halo reigns supreme. As he now looks to the future, Halo’s happiness and well-being will continue to shape his priorities.
