A North Carolina woman got cheated out of four tickets she purchased on Craigslist to go see a Dave Chappelle comedy show.
Deidra Dickens reportedly purchased tickets to see Chappelle’s show on Valentine’s Day at the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center, in Charlotte, NC. However, she reports that the seller never mailed her the tickets after she made the $500 payment. And to make matters worse, police weren’t of any help– not even after filing an official police report with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department.
For the most part, all seemed lost for the couple, until news spread to Chapelle. After hearing about what happened, the comedian made a very kind gesture to Deidra and the rest of his fans.
According to Bossip, Dave Chapelle gifted four tickets to the couples himself. He also included a bit of useful advice, for all their future purchases.

It’s the least he could have done. Chapelle has always been at the center of controversy, even recently with R. Kelly’s goons threatening Dave Chappelle over a skit.
