Cardi has become the voice for the hood. Since she hit single “Bodak Yellow”, she has become nothing short of icon status. From streaming millions to being on stage with legendary artists, the New York rapper has done it all. Despite legal troubles, Cardi has always been an outspoken person. However, she just won big in a current legal matter. A judge has ruled Cardi B P*ssy texts off the table officially.
That’s right, at the moment Cardi is going back and forth with her former manager. Just recently Cardi got a big win with a judge sealing her private texts with Offset. In addition, her videotape deposition will be sealed as well.
“The Court concludes that the status of Belcalis Almanzar as a person of public interest, as well as the privacy interest enjoyed by any litigant, strongly counsel in favor of limiting the use of the video version of the deposition. Accordingly, it is hereby ORDERED that the video version of the deposition of Belcalis Almanzar shall be used only for purposes of this litigation and shall not be filed or otherwise disseminated to any member of the public without permission of the Court.”
Cardi‘s legal war is just beginning. Furthermore, the protective order will avoid questions surrounding her finances and personal convos with Offset. Sometime last year her former manager sued her for $10 million for dumping him. He claims that it was a breach of their original contract. Above all, she responded with a lawsuit of her own regarding damages and not looking out for her as an artist.

The Invasion of Privacy rapper signed with her former management company back in 2015. During that time he was entitled to 20% of Cardi’s earning. One of Cardi’s defense is that he did not provide her with allegedly any accounting, payments owed to her, and a sole business manager.
