Tyga In Hot Water, And May Need To Pay Up $200K

1

Tyga has already been in the media for more negative than positive. In this unfortunate case, it’s more negative.

The LA native has been known for financial troubles throughout the years. Despite having some solid hits, Tyga seemingly has the worse of luck even with his hit single “Taste”.

At the moment a Canadian social media marketing company is looking to collect $200K from the rapper. The Blast reports that back in 215 the marketing company provided Tyga with a $200K advance.

After failing to follow through on his end to allowing full access to his social profile, Tyga breached the end of his contract. The Canadian company won a default judgment of $145.070.94, but they still need California to recognize the judgment to properly collect

The Saints Superbowl Bound With Dez

0

A month ago 39-year old Drew Brees, who’s been playing like he’s 29, set the record for most passing yards of All-time, passing both Brett Favre and Payton Manning. Saints Michael Thomas has recorded 70 recoveries, and Kamara has recorded 728 rushing yards, along with over 800 receiving yards., add in the 30-year old Dez Bryant who had 69 recoveries last season, 838 yards, and 6 touchdowns to a Saints team that averages the second most points per game in the league at 34.9 points per game, a record of 7-1, the Saints could have possibly made a move that will play out into the Superbowl this season.

After playing eight seasons in Dallas, the 3-time pro bowler Dez Bryant was cut from the team on April 13, 2018, leaving the wide receiver in limbo on a playing destination. Little did most NFL fans know that Dez Bryant has been on the Saints radar not long after his release.
Drew Brees definitely thought about the possibility of adding Dez Bryant. ” We talked last season about it. I remember thinking it would definitely help us to add a player like him.” Brees told Espn reporters.

“Dez has been a really good player in this league for a long time and there’s certainly a skillset he has that is going to be beneficial,” Brees said. “I look forward to working with him. I look forward to building a rapport with him. I look forward to getting him involved in this offense and just become a complement to all the guys that we already have.”

With the move, the Saints add depth to their wide receiving core, as the team now has both Dez Bryant and Michael Thomas in their receiving core. The only issue now is whether Dez Bryant would cope with the fact that he won’t be the main option, as he’ll be a secondary option to Michael Thomas, which in past years has been an issue for Bryant.

On things for sure, Bryant is definitely in a better winning situation than he was with the Dallas Cowboys.

Miscommunication Causes Mayweather To Cancel Bout In Tokyo

The former welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather may be receiving the side eye from plenty of people.

Just two days ago it was announced in Tokyo that the retired champion would be in a bout against the undefeated 20-year-old kickboxing prospect Tenshin Nasukawa. The event would was set to take place on New Year’s Eve in Tokyo.

Mayweather released a statement this afternoon stating that the bout was called off. Pretty Boy Floyd explained that he was blindsided by the arrangements and that he did not approve of all the details. Even with this sounding fishy, during the live stream conference, the details surrounding the fight was scarce and never confirmed.

The promotion company “RIZIN”, already started pushing advertisement to gain sufficient hype around the fight.

“Now that I am back on U.S. soil after a long and disappointing trip to Tokyo, I now have the time to address you, my fans and the media in regards to the upcoming event on December 31st that was recently announced,” read a statement released on Mayweather’s Instagram account.

“First and foremost, I want it to be clear that I, Floyd Mayweather, never agreed to an official bout with Tenshin Nasukawa. In fact (with all due respect) I have never heard of him until this recent trip to Japan.

“Ultimately, I was asked to participate in a 9-minute exhibition of 3 rounds with an opponent selected by the “Rizen Fighting Federation”. What I was originally informed of by Brent Johnson of “One Entertainment” was that this was to be an exhibition put on for a small group of wealthy spectators for a very large fee. This exhibition was previously arranged as a “Special Bout” purely for entertainment purposes with no intentions of being represented as an official fight card nor televised worldwide.

“Once I arrived to the press conference, my team and I were completely derailed by the new direction this event was going and we should have put a stop to it immediately.

I want to sincerely apologize to my fans for the very misleading information that was announced during this press conference and I can assure you that I too was completely blindsided by the arrangements that were being made without my consent nor approval. For the sake of the several fans and attendees that flew in from all parts of the world to attend this past press conference, I was hesitant to create a huge disturbance by combating what was being said and for that I am truly sorry.

Many people are still questioning whether this was done purposely, as many expect a rematch showdown with either Conor McGregor or Manny Pacquaio.

Weed Was The Ultimate Winner of The Midterm Elections

2

Although there were multiple victories during Tuesday’s midterms, we did get two encouraging signs that the future of the USA is looking bright. Democrats garnered House control, while weed emerged victoriously.

In Michigan for example, there was a widely agreed upon “yes” to recreational use for those 21 and up. No Michigan stands as the second largest state with an awesome recreational marijuana stance.

“Voters have once again sent a message loud and clear that it is time to legalize and regulate marijuana,” Marijuana Policy Project executive director Steve Hawkins.

In terms of the medical side of marijuana, Missouri and Utah voters won in a different way. For example, Missouri’s Amendment 2 can be described as a “patient-centered proposal” that keeps the power out of the hands of politicians. According to a political director, Justin Strekal stated that “Of the three proposals on the ballot, we believed that Amendment 2 was the clear choice for voters, and the voters agreed.”

For Utah, they are hoping for the best in the sense that local lawmakers will support the Utah Medical Cannabis Act. But let’s face it, politicians always want a hand in the weed game. And sadly, a legalization effort in North Dakota did not have the same outcome. Only 63 perfect approved for outright legalization as opposed to 93 percent of Americans who voted for medical legalization.

What do you all think? Should politicians be involved in the marijuana industry? Please comment below!

Nigeria’s Phlow Reflects The Essence Of Hip-hop In Asuai (Vol 2)

Phlow: Nigeria’s burgeoning emcee/songwriter, Phlow brings her recently released EP, the great Asuai (Vol. 2), to life with a striking new video that takes the viewer through the lives and thoughts of four unique characters.

The EP’s four tracks, which are brilliantly produced by Montreal’s Dr. Mad, lay the groundwork for Phlow to showcase her acting chops as she works through the raw emotions within her lyrics. And it’s all seen through the always-sharp lens of XYZ (for Str8Buttah Productions), who directed the visuals and captured the tone of each track.

Essentially, the video finds Phlow taking on the role of the four narrators on the EP, including naive Stephanie, cynical Asuai, nonchalant Phlow, and her teacher incarnate, the mature Ms. Eyime. And whether you’re familiar with Phlow’s previous work or have had Asuai (Vol. 2) on repeat since September, this is another opportunity to get even more familiar with one of Hip-Hop’s most burgeoning talents.

1

With the final weeks of 2018 coming to a close, Ethopian-American rapper SIIMBA LIIVES LONG is ending the year with a series of singles including last month’s critically acclaimed release “BAD FOR THE SOUL” featuring KAMAU. Reflecting on a year that included new track releases, two music videos- “HOOKED” and the cypher style video for “BAD FOR THE SOUL-,” and a series of live performances including a jaw-dropping hook suspension stunt at Treble FM’s one-year anniversary show, SIIMBA is now ready to wrap up one of the most pivotal years in his career to date. Today, the Brooklyn-based artist is ready to reveal one of his last singles of 2018 titled “DON’T MIIND.”

SIIMBA’s fourth single this year, “DON’T MIIND” again provides a modern commentary on living in the age of social media, similar to previous single “SCROLL CLICKIN‘.” A tongue-in-cheek crossover single, “DON’T MIIND” explores the nuances of dating and according to SIIMBA, “not caring about what other people say about me to anyone I am seeing. I am already open with the person I am with.” Infusing his lyrics with experiences unique to himself yet universally relatable, “DON’T MIIND” sees SIIMBA flex verses of spitfire rhymes and catchy, sung choruses on top of a well-rounded production.
