The Houston Fire Department, led by District Chief Justin Barnes, arrived at the scene to find the two-story brick house ablaze, with the fire starting from the second floor.
The fire was reported around 2 a.m. and within a span of three to five minutes, the fire department was at the scene, as per the Houston Chronicle. The fire was successfully contained within approximately 10 minutes.
Historical Significance of the House
This house, located on the 2400 block of Rosedale, holds significant history as it was purchased by the Knowles family in 1982. Beyoncé resided there until she was five years old. During her Renaissance world tour, she was spotted capturing pictures of the property.
