Ben Platt Speaks Out On Antisemitic Protest at Broadway Parade

On Tuesday night, there was a protest at the Broadway Parade. The parade is one of New York City’s most popular events, and it’s usually an opportunity to see the latest shows on Broadway.

Several people were protesting at the event, including an Orthodox Jewish man. He was beaten by the crowd and sent to the hospital, according to news reports.

BDS Boston’s Tweet About The Protest

In the days before the parade, a group called BDS Boston posted an image on Twitter showing a protester with a “BDS” button on. The tweet said: “BDS Boston supports the boycott, divestment, and sanctions (BDS) movement against Israel.”

As a result, the mayor and members of the council issued a resolution condemning BDS in their city. It calls the movement an “unacceptable” form of antisemitism that has disenfranchised Jewish voters and intimidated them.

The protest was a failure, as it saw an Orthodox Jew hospitalized.
