A Kick streamer was beaten on camera in Boston after he handed out fried chicken to Black pedestrians while shouting a racial slur at them during a livestream. The streamer, identified by multiple outlets as OnyxDenji, was tackled to the ground and struck repeatedly once the provocation boiled over, and footage of the beating has since drawn millions of views.
Sportskeeda reconstructed the October 14 broadcast, which showed OnyxDenji walking through a Boston neighborhood with a box of chicken, offering it to people with a “You want some food?” opener and pressing even after residents told him to stop recording and leave. When one man gave the food back, the streamer escalated with insults and dropped the N-word on the live feed. The man threw his bottle and charged, and bystanders pleaded for the beating to stop as the camera fell.
The clip of the incident has pulled more than 7,800 likes on X since it was posted Thursday, and Yahoo Entertainment carried video of the confrontation under the blunt caption that a streamer was beaten after using a racial slur while handing out food.
Vidmax reported the streamer was robbed of his phone during the scuffle and was later heard threatening to call police on the man who hit him. The outlet described the stunt as textbook nuisance streaming, a format in which broadcasters deliberately enter neighborhoods, push racial buttons and film the blowback for engagement.
The consequences arrived quickly on the platform side. Sportskeeda reported that OnyxDenji’s Kick channel appears to have been suspended and no longer loads on the site, a familiar arc for the service that has spent months whacking provocative IRL broadcasters.
Even other streamers declined to defend him. Kick creator Sneako was shown chuckling “Groyper down” as the clip played, before turning serious and telling viewers plainly: “Don’t do this content.”
The beating fits a pattern Hypefresh has tracked all year. Kick streamer XenaTheWitch was arrested after a livestreamed paintball attack and faces up to seven years in prison, a case that showed the platform’s stunts leaking into real criminal court.
Provocation content has also turned on its stars. Streamer N3on fled Los Angeles in an emotional on-air exit after a humiliation prank went too far, and streamer Geologyshi was slapped by rapper Nine Vicious during a backstage dispute that spilled out of her own content orbit.
No arrests tied to the Boston beating have been publicly confirmed, and OnyxDenji has not issued a detailed response. The clip keeps circulating anyway, and the message from the street was the one the streamer claimed he wanted all along: get out of the hood.
