Drake iced out Sexyy Red and Stunna Sandy with matching pink OVO owl pendants, according to photos posted by @Kurrco on X on September 16. The custom pink-glittery chains are the latest high-profile jewelry move from the OVO camp and immediately spread across Instagram and X within hours of the drop.
Stunna Sandy is wearing hers on a diamond tennis chain over a black lace bra and open jacket. Sexyy Red is in bed with a pink bonnet on, pointing at her pendant laid out on the pillow next to her. Kurrco’s caption, “Drake gifted Stunna Sandy and Sexyy Red pink OVO pendants 🦉💎,” has pulled 16,580 likes on X as of Wednesday morning.
The jewelry move lands days after Drake’s FOMO short film premiered on YouTube on September 15, a 57-minute “not-so-short film directed and scored by the family,” per Drake’s FOMO film Wikipedia page. The rollout is part of the same May 2026 surprise three-album drop — Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honour — that Hypefresh previously reported was submitted for Grammy consideration.
Both women are featured collaborators on Maid of Honour, Drake’s 10th studio album released May 15, 2026 through OVO Sound and Republic Records. According to the album’s Wikipedia-confirmed tracklist, Stunna Sandy (real name Sandy Soliman) appears on the footwork-leaning “Outside Tweaking,” and Sexyy Red appears on “Cheetah Print,” the hip-house single that samples Peggy Gou’s “(It Goes Like) Nanana.” Pitchfork named “Cheetah Print” its Best New Track at the time of release.
Sexyy Red, real name Janae Nierah Wherry, is 28 and from St. Louis, per her Wikipedia entry. She has been linked to Drake since their 2023 collaboration “Rich Baby Daddy,” and outlets have previously documented high-end Cartier and Hermès pieces from the rapper among her gift run. The pink OVO is the latest addition to that catalog.
Drake has a long public history of handing out custom OVO owl pendants to close collaborators. Hypefresh covered Drake honoring Vybz Kartel with a special OVO chain earlier this year, and he recently surprised Adin Ross with a custom chain featuring his son Adonis’s face. Other pieces in Drake’s recent jewelry orbit include the Tupac Death Row pendant Drake acquired from collector Alexander Bitar and the $125K diamond Nokia Adin Ross gifted the rapper.
The pink colorway is new to the public eye on the OVO owl, and matching sets for two female collaborators at the same time is rare even by Drake’s standards. The Kurrco post is the only public confirmation so far — none of Drake, Sexyy Red, or Stunna Sandy has issued an official statement on the gifts. In hip-hop terms, the photos themselves are the statement: when you’re close to the OVO camp, the jewelry shows up.
