IShowSpeed Plans to Stream from Space After Visiting Every Country

Darren Watkins Jr., the internet phenomenon better known as IShowSpeed, is turning his signature chaotic energy into one of the most ambitious travel projects in streaming history. During a recent livestream on his ongoing Caribbean tour, the 21-year-old declared he has already visited 96 countries and intends to see the rest of the world in the next two to three years — after which he plans to livestream from space.

“There’s like 200 countries in the world and I’m at 96… After this tour, I’ll be around halfway through the whole world,” Speed said in the clip, which quickly spread across social media. “Two to three more years I’ll be done with the whole world, after that I’m going to space bro. After I’m done exploring this whole world, I’m going underwater.”

The high-octane streamer framed the globe-trotting project as a way to bring far-flung destinations directly to fans who may never have the opportunity to travel themselves. He added an underwater adventure, likely via submersible, to his growing bucket list.

Speed’s latest comments came amid an intense stretch of his Caribbean tour, which launched around April 25, 2026, and has seen him island-hop across multiple destinations including Saint Lucia, Dominica, Guadeloupe, St. Kitts and Nevis, Sint Maarten, and others. In one particularly grueling day, he reportedly attempted to stream from four countries, pushing himself to exhaustion by the end.

His country tally received major boosts from two headline-grabbing runs. From late December 2025 into January 2026, Speed completed the “Speed Does Africa” tour, hitting approximately 20 countries in roughly 28 days. The marathon included stops in Egypt — where he streamed from inside the Great Pyramid of Giza — Nigeria (where he celebrated his 21st birthday), Ghana, South Africa, Kenya, and several others. During the Africa leg, he received warm local welcomes and even honorary recognition in Ghana for his role in spotlighting the continent.

Prior to that, he had already built momentum with tours across Europe, South America, Asia, and the United States. Fan trackers and maps shared on platforms like Instagram and Reddit have attempted to document every live-streamed stop, though exact counts can vary depending on how brief visits and territories are logged. Speed’s self-reported figure of 96 places him near the halfway point of the world’s roughly 195 recognized sovereign countries (193 U.N. member states plus two observers, Vatican City and Palestine), with broader traveler definitions sometimes stretching closer to 200.

Completing the full list presents significant logistical challenges, including visa issues, geopolitical restrictions, safety concerns in certain regions, and the demands of constant travel with a production team. Still, his relentless pace has proven he can cover ground faster than most.

Once he checks off the remaining destinations, Speed has his sights set even higher. A livestream from space would mark uncharted territory for any major streamer. While private spaceflight has become more accessible in recent years through companies like SpaceX, Blue Origin, and others, pulling off a reliable live broadcast from orbit would involve overcoming latency, bandwidth limitations, and the extreme environment of zero gravity. Cost remains a major factor, but with Speed’s massive audience and sponsorship potential, industry observers say a partnership-driven mission in the late 2020s is not entirely out of reach.

At just 21 years old, the streamer has time on his side. Should he maintain his current momentum and wrap the world tour by 2028 or 2029, a space attempt could land in his mid-20s as commercial space tourism continues to expand.

Speed’s global runs have evolved from pure IRL chaos into large-scale cultural moments, frequently drawing thousands of fans to public appearances and generating viral local interactions. His Africa tour, in particular, was noted for showcasing positive aspects of the continent to his tens of millions of followers worldwide.
