YourRAGE Fires Caretaker After Facebook Marketplace Cleaners Rob His House

On August 1, 2025, a storm of viral allegations erupted across TikTok, X , and Instagram, painting a shocking picture of what appeared to be a brazen theft at the home of popular Twitch streamer YourRAGE, also known as Josh. Posts shared by multiple users claimed that the streamer returned to find his home stripped of furniture after his caretaker, Yonna Jay, allegedly hired cleaners through Facebook Marketplace to tidy up following a “girls’ night” party.

Clips purportedly showing YourRAGE confronting Yonna quickly circulated online, garnering millions of views.

“Call them people back. Get my couch,”

one clip shows the streamer saying, visibly frustrated. In another alleged exchange, he tells Yonna:

“You’re fired. Simple as that. I’m not playing with you.”

YourRAGE, real name Josh, is a well-known Twitch and YouTube streamer with over 1.4 million followers on Twitch alone. He is popular for his Just Chatting and gaming streams and often collaborates with creators like Kai Cenat and Duke Dennis. Yonna Jay, who also maintains a small social media presence, was hired as YourRAGE’s caretaker after he suffered a severe eye injury in July 2024. That accident left him with lasting vision and mobility challenges, necessitating additional help at home.

According to the allegations circulating online, Yonna hosted a girls’ night party at YourRAGE’s residence in late July. Afterwards, she reportedly hired cleaners through Facebook Marketplace to help clean the property. When YourRAGE returned, he allegedly discovered that not only was the furniture gone, but also some of his specialized medical equipment.

The social media videos and posts generated quite heated debates, but the story remains unfounded. There has yet been no evidence to determine whether the cleaners were indeed service contractors or just impersonators. Neither YourRAGE nor Yonna Jay has issued public statements through verified accounts.

The lack of factual news hasn’t stopped the episode from being the subject of social media discussions. The hashtags #yourrage, #yonna, and #furnituretheft have been going viral on TikTok and X. In the streamer community, the allegations have revived arguments on how public figures are searched now that personal lives come into the public eye.

Some of the posts mentioned past caretaker scandals involving YourRAGE, suggesting there could be a history of breach of trust. Others mentioned the risk of bringing unchecked home services from online marketplaces. The Better Business Bureau has constantly warned consumers of platform-based fraud like those of Facebook Marketplace, reporting thousands of theft and fraud reports concerning home services adverts in 2024 alone.

Beyond the specifics of this case, the viral allegations highlight broader challenges for public figures who rely on personal caregivers. High-profile individuals often face security risks in their private lives, and relying on caretakers or informal service providers can increase vulnerability.

The situation also underscores how misinformation can spread rapidly in online communities. Without statements from the individuals involved or official confirmation, the narrative of the alleged theft has been shaped entirely by viral posts and reaction videos.

Many questions remain unanswered. Were the cleaners legitimate? Have police or insurance companies been notified? Did Yonna Jay knowingly hire unverified workers, or was she also a victim of a scam? Will either party address the controversy publicly?

Journalistic best practices dictate that before drawing conclusions, reporters would need to reach out directly to YourRAGE and Yonna Jay for comment, verify police or insurance records, and confirm details through credible sources. Until that happens, these claims remain allegations.

The alleged theft at YourRAGE’s home has captivated millions online, but the story remains built entirely on social media posts. Until more information surfaces from reliable sources, the incident should be treated as unverified.
