Duke Dennis, the fun and entertaining YouTuber, recently met something unbelievable that shocked him and his community. Duke met an orangutan in Dubai whose human-like behavior was so unbelievable that it stirred up a buzz and tons of fun and chatter all around the web.
In a video clip that immediately went viral, the 12-year-old orangutan, who is a star attraction because of his interactions, can be seen walking side by side, holding hands, just like old buddies. The most surprising aspect of the video, however, was when Duke allowed the orangutan to hold the steering wheel, jokingly calling himself the “passenger princess.” As the orangutan expertly steered the truck, Duke could hardly believe his eyes, calling the animal a “great guy” numerous times.
The internet meltdown, and everyone laughed at Duke’s astonishment and admired the orangutan’s misadventures. Many commented on how orangutans are so near to humans because they share around 97% identical genes. Some joked about how if orangutans could actually communicate, they could be applying to the job market in the human world.
The orangutan Rambo impressed everyone most when he was seen driving a golf cart. Rambo effortlessly maneuvered the cart, peering into the back and braking at the proper spots. A few people jokingly commented that Rambo seemed to be a better driver than some humans.
Duke’s playful nature and natural people skills also enhanced the experience all the more. His reply—a half-and-half mixture of shock and amusement—rang in the public’s ears, and the video went viral on sites like TikTok and YouTube. The moment also sparked a debate about the intellect of orangutans. The animal already possessed problem-solving abilities and social interactions, but to see the animal commandingly driving a vehicle and mimicking the ways of humans was something different.
Fans continued to troll the experience, joking about Rambo’s attitude in comparison to his co-streamer Kai Cenat. Some even suggested Rambo should return in future streams alongside Duke and his team.
Duke Dennis has long gained fame through his entertaining content, and this unexpected orangutan friendship just raised the stakes. His ability to transform the ordinary into entertaining circumstances continues to draw in his audience.
