Spears described a conversation from the previous week in which one son said
“it was all science, he didn’t personally believe in God.”
She wrote:
“In that moment, I believed I had failed as a mother because I know there is a Holy Spirit that sits high in the kingdom of heaven … I’ve been there I’ve felt it … I wanna tell my kids and people in general that I’m sorry for my mistakes in the past.”
She added that she lives in “prayer and yoga every day of my f***ing life.” These statements reflect her personal religious beliefs and emotional self-assessment. They do not establish an objective failure in parenting.
Spears also criticized her parents, Jamie Spears and Lynne Spears. She claimed she only learned about five years ago that they had “secretly taken” her sons to the beach “the whole summer” without her knowledge.
“I wondered why I wasn’t a part of their cool secret outings … I felt demoralized to live in a country where it was accepted for people like my mom and dad to live secret lives with my children … I honestly went to my knees and cried for two months,”
she wrote. She further recalled her father restricting her movements, including forbidding a diner outing with a friend due to paparazzi attention after she had been confined at home.
