Woman Who Hit Ice Spice Explains Her Side: “She Was Being Rude”

A Hollywood McDonald’s run turned into a full-blown fight when a woman slapped rapper Ice Spice in the face and now the woman who started it is telling her side.

Early Wednesday morning, April 15, 2026, Ice Spice was eating inside the McDonald’s on Vine Street in Hollywood with one friend. A woman later identified as Vayah walked up to their table uninvited. Words flew. Vayah slapped Ice Spice. The scuffle spilled outside with more pushing, yelling and chaos. CCTV and bystander videos captured the entire mess. Ice Spice’s team called it an “unprovoked attack” and reported it to the LAPD. No arrests have been made as of April 18.

TMZ released the raw footage first. The split-screen clip on No Jumper shows Vayah in a white hoodie talking straight to camera on the left while the actual CCTV and street fight plays on the right. Inside the restaurant, Vayah approaches the booth, leans in, and gets told to leave. She slaps Ice Spice hard enough to send her backward. Ice Spice jumps across tables chasing her. Outside, more shoving happens and one of Vayah’s friends’ phones gets smashed on the ground. Audio snippets picked up in some clips include comments that sound more confrontational than friendly.

Vayah sat down with TMZ and No Jumper to explain. She said,

“I was with my friends and everything and we came from the beach earlier that night and we decided to go walk around Hollywood or whatever but before we did that we decided to stop by McDonald’s because we all had to use the bathroom. So then one of my friends she comes out and she was like oh I think that’s iSpice over there and I’m like oh for real? So I go up to them and I’m giving her and the other girl she was with a compliment and then immediately iSpice was just being rude she was like why are you over here you could leave bye… then she calls me a b* so after she calls me a b* I hit her.”

She added that after security escorted her out, Ice Spice came into the street yelling,

“Where is that b**** at I want to fight her.”

Vayah said the whole thing changed how she feels about the rapper:

“As a fan I’m not expecting you to be rude or nothing like that… she had a different attitude towards me… I just can’t listen to her the same anymore.”

The videos are real and verified by multiple outlets including TMZ. The slap and fight happened exactly where and when reported. Ice Spice’s legal team, led by attorney Bradford Cohen, confirmed they filed a police report and are looking at criminal and civil action. Vayah’s interview is also real and public.

The story exploded after No Jumper posted the interview clip. Most replies online call Vayah’s story a lie for clout and say the footage doesn’t match her “just being nice” version. Plenty of people pointed out that even if someone is rude, you don’t get to slap them. Ice Spice later joked online, “this wouldn’t happen at Wendy’s.”

The fight has people talking about where the line is between being a fan and invading a celebrity’s space. In a city like Los Angeles, stars grab fast food like everybody else, but moments like this show how quickly things can turn physical. Legally, experts say feeling disrespected never justifies assault. The LAPD is still investigating, and both sides could face consequences. For now, the videos keep spreading, and everyone has an opinion.
