There are smart people in the world, then you have people like Whitney Port in this world.
Whitney Port (fashion designer and current star of The Hills: New Beginnings) just dropped the hugest bomb on her podcast, With Whit.
Port revealed that she almost hooked up with Hollywood’s most well-known bachelor, Leonardo DiCaprio.
But, ultimately decided not to go through with it because she got cold feet!!
“I have been dying to tell people this story for ages! I feel like whenever I tell it to friends, no one believes me.”
According to Port, she met Leonardo DiCaprio at a nightclub in New York 10 years ago. Leo allegedly invited her to join him at neighboring nightclub 1Oak.
“I remember dancing alone on the dance floor because you were in a corner talking to him and I didn’t want to intrude, but also like couldn’t leave,” Harper’s Bazaar entertainment director Andrea Cuttler, who was with Port at the club, said on the podcast.
Port says the two exchanged phone numbers and kept in touch for six months.
This was before seeing each other again in Los Angeles where he supposedly invited her back to his place.
“I saw him out the Roosevelt Hotel,” she said. “He invited me out to Teddy’s and he invited me back over to his house, and I said, ‘No.’ I was too nervous. I had never had a one-night stand. I didn’t want to be with him alone.”
She added, “I was way too nervous to do it and then I lost my chance and it’s really one of my bigger regrets in life.”
Whitney also wonders if Leo would have any recollection of this in 2019. “I wonder if he would remember that we had this relationship.”
I would say most likely not since he’s in a reportedly serious relationship with 22-year-old model Camila Morrone. But hey, it’s possible!
