Born and raised one of nine siblings in Southwest Philadelphia, RecoHavoc turned intense hardships into hard-hitting and hypnotic hip-hop.
Experiencing events that would break the best of us, the 21-year-old rapper emerged as the next in a long line of Philly rap champs. Within the span of two years, he generated millions of YouTube views, packed shows, led the YNW (Young N Wealthy) movement to national prominence and earned props from the likes of Lil Uzi Vert and PnB Rock.
And today, RecoHavoc drops his new visual “YA HEARD ME.” Fueled by game-changing high energy, neon lights and squad goals, RecoHavoc’s new visual is a testament to his enigmatic energy and artistic direction.
When asked about the concept, he stated the following:
My whole idea for ‘Ya Heard Me’ was to take it back to my roots,” “I’m from Philly. You gotta fight and dance. That’s hip-hop, that’s the culture. I grew up in this shit so I embrace every part of hip-hop, not just rapping or singing
