ADÈ (formerly known as Phil Adé), a well-known artist from the DMV area, is making a comeback in 2020 with his latest single and music video, “DON’T CRY,” featuring Trevor Jackson. In addition to the new track, ADÉ has announced the release of his new EP, wyd after?, coming this Spring.
Over a nostalgic and uplifting production, this rapper, producer, and songwriter from Silver Spring, Maryland effortlessly blends his style with a soulful bass groove and simmering beat. Trevor Jackson, a talented singer, songwriter, and star of Grown-ish, delivers a captivating cameo and sings the infectious hook. The music video showcases the dynamic duo having a great time at an exclusive “After Hours Club,” a secret society that will gradually unveil itself throughout ADÉ’s upcoming project. They navigate the dance floor, head towards the bar, and are surrounded by a crowd of stunning club-goers. The video reaches its climax with a passionate and fiery romantic encounter for ADÉ.
In 2019, ADÉ introduced the world to a new side of himself, while continuing to carve out a place among hip-hop’s modern elite.
