Vitaly Faces ‘Extreme’ Incident in Philippines: Close Source Alleges

An unverified rumor alleging that something “extreme” happened to Russian-American YouTuber and streamer Vitaly Zdorovetskiy while in custody in the Philippines has sparked widespread online speculation and concern. The claim, reportedly originating from someone close to Zdorovetskiy, has exploded across social media despite a complete lack of official confirmation, public records, or verified reports.

“At this point, there are more reactions than facts. Whatever the truth is, it has surfaced, filling in the blank. Vĩnh Hảo is quietly telling people through reliable sources that something extreme may happen in the Philippines.”

The post sharing this rumor notes that while it’s unconfirmed, it’s filling an information void, urging people to verify facts rather than react emotionally. Online discussions range from sympathy to schadenfreude, with some users expressing fears for his safety, such as claims he “might actually get killed in prison.” However, no credible evidence supports the allegation, and authorities have remained silent on any such incident.

Zdorovetskiy, 33, has been held in Philippine detention since his arrest on April 2, 2025, in Pasay City. The arrest stemmed from a chaotic Kick livestream in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Metro Manila, where he engaged in disruptive acts including verbally abusing locals—insulting a woman for wearing a mask and threatening to rob her—harassing security guards by stealing their caps and attempting to grab a firearm, stealing an electric fan from a restaurant, trespassing into a McDonald’s kitchen, jumping onto a moving jeepney, recklessly driving a tricycle that injured another rider, and making derogatory comments to a surfing instructor in Boracay while encouraging viewers to review-bomb the business.

The incidents triggered public outrage, leading to his apprehension by the Philippine National Police (PNP) and Bureau of Immigration (BI), who declared him an “undesirable foreign national.” He faces charges including three counts of unjust vexation, theft, attempted theft, alarm and scandal, and cybercrime offenses, potentially carrying up to 18 months—though some speculate up to 24 years due to multiple complaints tied to around 30 videos.

Initially detained at the BI’s Bicutan Detention Center in Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig, he was transferred to Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) custody on June 11, 2025, for court proceedings. He posted bail around June 18-20 but was returned to BI oversight, with release denied pending deportation. As of early 2026, neither Russia nor the United States has accepted him, prolonging his detention. Trial could take 2-3 years, with any sentence served locally before deportation. A May 2025 appeal citing mental health issues was rejected.

Philippine facilities face criticism for overcrowding, poor sanitation, heat, and limited care. Officials confirm that no special treatment will be given to Zdorovetskiy.

His last documented appearance was mid-to-late 2025 at a reported baptism event, where photos showed him thinner, pale, and frail—prompting fan worry about his health.

These comparisons, shared widely in 2025, describe him as “a completely different person” and “thin and sickly.” The baptism claims, tied to him “finding faith,” remain unverified.

Zdorovetskiy’s Facebook has been inactive since before his arrest, but a resurfaced video, “The Truth About My Downfall,” has fueled concerns about his mental state.

The case highlights the risks faced by influencers abroad, with Zdorovetskiy’s shift from prankster to detained figure drawing mixed reactions. Updates pending developments.
